Absolutely love your channel! It's great to see more warcry content out there. Would you consider doing a skaven warband breakdown? I know they're a daunting range to look at but I feel like that's another great reason for a video.

Skaven are indeed quite the challenge to cover, and you are right, that’s a big treason to cover them. I’ll add them to the list and see what I can do!

Ive been looking at warcry and I'm really liking the (compendium?) Khorne bloodbound. I really want skullcrusher heavy cavalry, but idk how viable they are in a casual setting. Rule of cool and all that but if they're useless/ getting stomped constantly that kinda diminishes the "cool." Been eyeing the Vanguard box, would give me 3 skull crushers, blood priest, 10 blood warriors, 10 blood reavers for lots of list options. The list that has been rolling around in my head is, mighty lord on skullcrusher (280) 2 skull crushers with glaive (210+210) 3 blood reavers (65 each) 1 blood warrior (100) Brings me to 995pts

Skull Crushers have one big downside - they have the Mounted Runemark (I believe). If there is a lot of verticality, you may struggle to get them into combat since Mounted models can’t climb. But other than that, it sounds like a really funky list! Rule of cool always applies and playing a list you like is better than running something someone else likes. Mounted is a drawback but not a list killer.

One of the SF lists Im liking right now: A Trueblood with two Venombloods with whips, then three Clearbloods with shields and then the Ogroid Myrmidon plus a Venomblood with duelling blades and a Clearblood. 9 models for 1000pts.

Oooh I like that. An extra body over mine, whilst retaining the kill potential. That extra Venomblood being a mini Purebloox will be lovely

@@wargamesontoast what are your thoughts on the Fomoroid Crusher instead of the Myrmidon? The crusher has a lot of staying power and can add a wild dice to the supply after a kill which can give the warband more double spending power later on After your Darkoath Savagers video I ordered up a box of them to try the Crusher with them as well. Between visions of glory and that crusher ability, could rain wild dice.

@@eggiwegs I love the Crusher. He is a staple in my Beasts Of Chaos lists at the moment, and he does well. He has everything you could really want in a model. He is fast, has amazing toughness, and is rocking a great damage output. His ability to generate Wild Dice is VERY nice, and you are absolutely right, with Darkoaths, you can drown in the things. The Crusher can absolutely work with Fang, and would fill a very similar role. I picked the Ogroid in this list because I like the R2 on the spear plus the utility of being able to poke other things to do actions. I think both can work wonders here, and you can change them out at will without much hassle. I would just be careful with his Wild Dice ability. Like with most Abilities that don't directly increase your offensive but require kills to work, you might find yourself missing out on kills trying to eek out value. Since the Crusher (and Myrmidon for that matter) only have 3 attacks per AP, the REALLY like Onslaught. If you are confident you can land the kill though, then Wild Dice away!

Loving all these. Would really enjoy a hedonites of slaanesh one at some point. Also it would be great to have you do a tier list of warbands based on how good you think that they are!

Great to hear that! Maybe if you make the tier list it would be good to mention what is the optimal list that you are considering for them or if you are ranking them based on what only comes in their box 😁

One of my first Warcry warbands and one I've played the most in Warcry 1.0. Thank you for the video. Could you look at Nurgle Mortals and try to build something competitive out of these dudes? Is there any option to add regular plague bearers to the mortals?

Based on the Ally rules I don’t think you can add Plague Bearers, which is a shame because Plague Bearers are excellent value. I’ll put Nurgle Mortals on my list to cover!

You make a compelling argument for Splintered Fang being a relevant warband. While I think they look kinda cool in a very 'greekish' style, I just never really jived with their motivation for existing, even after reading the Warcry Anthology a few years ago. Regardless, as I slowly collect the bespoke warbands that I find pleasing in some way, I am coming round to fingering the shiney red "buy now" button to add them to my pile of shame, and your video is a nice primer on how they function in V2 at least. As everyone moves on to the next hottest thing in Ghur, I am liking staying behind in the Bloodwind Spoil of the Eightpoints. I fear these warbands will be cycled out, and FOMO for warbands I have yet to collect is gaining strength digging its insidious psychologically abusive talons in my mind. I refuse to buy from GW directly. I notice you seem to be making your way through all of the bespoke warbands, so I will refrain from making a suggestion for you to cover any specific one since there are a very finite amount of them, and their content here is likely imminent. I am however very new to V2, and a few things have been bothering me about how the rules work now. After trolling the webz for content regarding how exactly allies are dealt with in V2, (and shockingly finding nothing) I think there may be room for content surrounding how listbuilding could be best implemented, or other importent yet not so frequently asked questions pertaining to weird warcry rules. Like the last man standing rule from V1, that allowed the last model of a warband to use as many ability dice as you have available, instead of only one. Which apparently is no longer a thing in V2. Not that it ever came up much, but it was a nice thematic "Hail Mary" type of thing you'd see in movies of a tribe/gang/squad members last attempt to survive. Which is frankly kinda fuckin' awesome. Anyways, just a rather vague suggestion for potential content that could be covered in the future. I like what you have to say, and have subscribed to your newsletter.
