dude.... I want to give you a lot of respect seriously. I am a sf6 player. MK has always been my second game. I have always loved motral kombat casually. I typically play smoke. I hate him in this game. I don't know why but in mk1 I like raiden so much. I saw this video and I am very impressed with your knowledge. This has really helped me understand the character more. Everything you're saying makes sense and clicks. This is easily the best raiden video I have found. I learned so much. I'm going to watch this on repeat and learn everything I can from this. I love these lowkey channels of those who really truly dissect the character I thought raiden was underrated in mk11 I didn’t get into mk until late 11 I got x but didn’t practice but I thought raiden was so sick and unique especially master of storms now I play him trying to find my main this was so good definitely subbing and liking

Really love the channel, amazing content! Love maining raiden but feel like he’s lacking on the mixups. I’ve been using scorpion kameo, the F43K mixup has been godly. Especially after you do it after a F3 stagger. Switching between that and F43DB3(EX) works like a charm 😉

Raiden was my main in MK9. Didn't really play 10 or 11. And I've been playing him since launch. I really wanna learn Kung Lao. I've always liked him as a character

Agree with everything except Raiden Kano is probably his best kameo mainly because of Goro's recovery.

I would say Sektor is probably his best Kameo honestly, so definitely give it a try!

You can also launch the ground shocker I think with DF4

I don’t really like the stormcell tactic so I like using lao for all the plus frames, zoning, lao hat can help with teleport or jump ins, and then if you use his spin launcher you can actually get his combo damage into the 40s again. I do 2421, fk, 34, f34, f2df2, 3df2 and that’s 42%

About 242 with sektor You can stagger it like summon rocket as usual that you wanted to use for combo But then stop at 243 go for f43 if blocked still your turn if hit go for combo with f34 of 34 And you can go for over head aswellnot going to be combo but its an option And can simply go for combo on block so keep opponent guessing Also you can use up r1 for rocket and after 242 forward throw Pushes back cuz sektor is not avalable then hit by rocket and go for combo with micro dadh f34(has huge damage scale tho)

Yeah that’s true but a lot of kameos give him a combo on his throw. Motaro was a little difficult for me to place but that is a really good point!

Darrius works like sektor now

I'm not sure about other Raiden players but I faithfully use Shocker as an anti air are since Raiden has a more challenging time getting in on other characters if you're not using his forward 4 3 or 1 2 that much.

The 3,4 anti air works like a charm for me but I can see shocker working well on characters with like dive kicks and such. Might need to go lab that and see if it’ll actually beat the dive kick out 🤔

Goro’s down grab is arguably better than his punch, you can hit 411 with it out of cart wheel

You need to do it with the mid kameo! It’s one of those combos where once you hit it a single time it becomes much easier.

@@Da_Lotus Yeah you're right, I got it! However I meant the one after shocker. After DB3 is mid kameo for sure, but for the shocker it was easier with the far one. But maybe that's just me. And yeah, I'm going with Goro.

That’s what I love about the game so much, even though I don’t agree with it I’ve had so many people tell me otherwise and now I want to put more time into it! Go with what kameo you want because at the end it doesn’t matter, the only thing that matters is that you enjoy it!

I used to use jax but since the last patch it's like the timing has all changed, and I can't get the sane combos out at all. Do you know what I mean?

I trying to learn this game first mk ever and it’s pretty hard for first timers when I get pressured I don’t know what to do to keep me a away from me I suck at neutral I think

I’m having fun with sektor and are winning a few. For the life of me I can’t the the f43 storm option select, rockets either show up to late or too early. I thought you could hit confirm and keep you safe. What is the exact timing and do you have to commit ?

You have to do F4, and immediately afterwards call up Sektor, and then do 3, into electromagnetic storm. That timing should be very consistent!

You have to time it properly, if you do it too late the high can be neutral ducked but if you do it too early, it won’t be plus on block

What’s your thoughts on players like yung chicuelo and shuletah doing work with Kano kameo? I switched over from Baraka to raiden after the patch and have been playing Sektor goro and sareena but have labbed Stryker and Kano but just didn’t see the point in using them honestly

I think Kano kameo is a solid pick if you wanna be able to switch between that offensive play style and a zoning/defense play style. But I think that what he offers other characters can offer with more on top of it too

So that is just framed data, you can pull it up in real time in the practice menu. All it means is, If something is +2, you get to hit 2 frames before they do If something is -2, they get to hit 2 frames before they do. There is 60 frames in a second, for reference

It is most likely because you are hitting it at max range, which will always cause it to whiff. If you hit it from point blank it should be connecting!

So if they’re able to poke out of it, that just means that you’re doing Goro a little late. A good way to learn what timing is proper is to put the dummy on block all, and stance as crouch. If Goro whiffs that means you did it wrong, if he connects on block that means you timed it right!

I tried sektor and the pressure is good its just the timing to call him is too weird sometimes. I picked up serena yesterday and my god i won like 8 matches in a row. She's the new jax for him he gets almost 50% off ANY touch lol meanwhile with sektor you only get the big damage off the punish/high but i notice some people know how to deal with the sektor pressure but even though im almost at god people keep falling for the serena mind game 😂 i learned the game with serena so i put her down a while ago but i came back to her because a raiden serena in KL destroyed my raiden sektor. Sektor is good for him its just a lot more thinking involved whereas with serena its basically training wheels and huge damage off any touch

Every character can whoop ass if your good the tier list only decides how hard is to play at the highest level

single player in this game sucks. The matches take too long to load in multiplayer. Also, the game seems to glorify disrespecting your opponent and poor sportsmanship. Soul Calibur is much better.
