How to play 'Mrs Robinson' by Simon and Garfunkel
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Here's another absolute classic - this song is SO fun to play - we'll go through the chords and strumming patterns to this iconic song by two of the greatest singer/songwriters of all time. We'll tackle the main riff as well - and as always, we'll do a slow playalong and then a full speed playalong toward the end. I also throw in a bit of lead stuff at the very end if you are looking to improve in that area as well.
I'll be using the 'Oldie Song 4' pattern that comes with the Beatbuddy for those that want to play along with their drum machines at home. 180BPM
Songsheets are always available at / guitaratwork
And.....we'll be playing along with the fabulous BEATBUDDY drum machine pedal and we'll be using the amazing AEROS Loop Studio GOLD EDITION pedal from Singular Sound. Play along with me!

Wow, best lesson I've seen. Mrs Robinson heated up in the full speed play. A lot of picks will go flying. Pro tip, keep a short piece of 1/2 Dowell by your chair. A stamp size piece of double sided tape on the Dowell retrieves dropped picks.Saves my back every time.

I'm much better at holding the pick. But I aim for a relaxed grip without tension creeping into my playing. Another killer strum song is The Eagle by John Denver. He's soaring like a bird in flight with that strum. Big workout.

Congratulations, well deserved for sure.
