    One of the most underrated guitarist/teacher on KZread...I've been watching Zoupa for years now and like the way he transcribes and explain things but when i look at the subscriber count and the views, my heart just melts, it just makes me sad..this guy is putting out quality content but still...........though in the meanwhile some shithead will post a shitty video which wont help you in any which way but the story becomes different there..

    thanks! I needed that! Instead of sliding up to the 12th fret on the 6th string for the very last note before the drive on the A string, I like to catch that note on the 5th string 7th fret then pull off to dive the A string.

    4:24 Ive seen Randy do that in other songs as well. Those ‘gross’ notes are the Flat 5 from the D minor blues scale. Randy would throw in the flat 5 blue scale notes in odd kind of ‘dissonant’ places sometime. He made it work; but definitely not the most pleasing to hear. Anyway, not trying to be a dick, love the channel. I subbed and TY for the refresher. Been a while since I played through that solo. It was fun. I like your succinct nature to the videos.

    What I found from this video is that it is sad that Randy is not here to explain his playing and note choices. As he bening a teach at heart would have love teaching people his songs.

    You should try to do the solos from Three Lives by Octavision, there are absolutely no lessons online for it so I think you could get some recognition for doing it. Also it would be sick if u could redo Hangar 18 :)

    Chris, how do pick the pentatonic triplets near the start? I find it difficult changing strings with a downward pick slant.

    you should upstroke the pull off then continue straight alternate picking from there, that way ur always going with an upstroke to the string above (from e to b, b to g etc.) that's the easiest (imo)

    I just saw you wearing something on your thumb. Is this just for small hurts to be covered while playing or just a tool for holding the pick in a right position while dealing with sweaty fingers?
