One thing I wish was specified on the board and/or player aid is that military has a max of 2 recruit per turn. It mentions it in the rule book but not on the board/aid. This really jacked up my first game because everyone was paying 60 money at the end to put 12 military out and spending another 10 to move most of them to adjacent places and it was insane. Completely different game if you know you can only recruit a max of 2.

Each player can not get a reference card simply because they only provided 3.... ( share them ?) Little things like, no included token for the score track, Less metal coins than cardboard coins, ect.. I am glad I backed this and can't wait to play, but slightly disappointed at the lack of thought on the final product. Yes I backed the colossus edition and feel some corners were cut without communicating this with the backers.

I just got mine and was surprised that the reference cards are even less than stated in the official unboxing (he stated 4 and it comes with 3). I don't mind the missing color bases for the wonders, but the missing 10 and 20 value coins was a bummer. Also, I had to look up the random "?" trade good token to see what that is (it's 1 wild token they give you that applies to one power or tech) and they also didn't say which cardboard is safe to recycle/throw-away in the Colossus version. It's kind of obvious, but I still didn't want to toss something accidentally.

Yes not having a score marker was weird

Agreed, even including 1 extra colored cube for each player would have been better than not including anything as a scoring marker. Very strange.

I just received my copy from Kickstarter and we had a blast .. great video .. p.s I was surprised that no one seems to think this is one of the top 10 games this year because it is absolutely fantastic and looks gorgeous....

Hi, I think you misspook at 5:05. You mention in a 2 player game don't use Hispania and in a 3 player game don't use Hispania and France. I think it should be reversed

Ah! The setup was fixed at 4:30, but this time stamp (5:05) wasn’t included in the request to fix from the publisher so it got omitted by accident. Nice catch!

Clear and concise! One question though: Which actions can you do without having to take a card? I know you can build a city, but can you always increase pop or tarif/tax regardless of which cards are in the display even though you get a lesser reward?

I believe the building Is the only one you can do without taking a card but best to put your question in the link in the description for questions so the publisher can answer

So the population minis just sit on the player board the whole game? I think even with the Colossus edition I would just use the cardboard tokens then.

They really are just another resource, like food and stone. Each player just has them in their own color. About the only thing I can figure, for this, is the expansion they are about to announce.
