Love this. I can play this version. I hate bar chords. This song always reminds me of my Moms death but also my kids births which were a beautiful day for us.
Great performance sir I truly hope you play live in some capacity
you really nail the vbcals on this one marty. I find i do a good job on the first part but when he jumps up an octave i'm lost lol.

Solid vocals - it's hard to get all the nuances but you captured the feel of the vocals which is the most important thing. As far as the music, in most live versions I've seen both from back in the day and now, they tune their guitars down half a step. So where you're playing an F, it sounds like an E, etc. I assume they did it because they like the subtle difference in the sound of a barred E rather than first position, there really isn't anything else gained by the tuning. You were were correct that it is three chords if you skip the "bridge" after the second chorus as you did in this video. In the original they alternate some F# and G# during the bridge ("Oh, I...), which would be G and A in the key you're playing in.

+Adam Rodriguez Thanx, I`m glad I could help you. While I'm not familiar with this band. I have a lot of requests I am trying to answer right now as well as some of my own faves I am trying to get posted but I will keep your request in mind for a possible future project, thank You for tuning in and good luck
How about "If you could only see" by Tonic or I bet you could do a great arrangement of Candle Box "Far Behind" I think that they would sound great with your voice! Also just wondering do you listen to any Seether? You obviously have great taste in music. If you have f=not listen to them you should check them out. Some well written lyrics and great guitar playing. Songs like Plastic Man, The Gift or Broken. May be some songs that you may enjoy if you have not listen to them before. Thanks again for another great lesson and I hope you check out some Seether acoustic you may find some great songs you have never heard before.Have a great day brother!
