RULES:
The object of the game is to solve the dialog puzzle by unscrambling the word order and filling in the key word to make 2 sentences within 5 guesses. Pick a daily challenge or a themed puzzle to begin. Drag a hexagon word to either speech balloon , or simply tap the hexagon to add it to the selected speech balloon . Dots under a hexagon word indicate how many times that word is used. All the words must be used, including the secret keyword, which is marked by a key icon. Each speech balloon must contain the keyword, and the keyword is the same word in both sentences. You can submit a guess without guessing the keyword, or you type in the word you think it is.
After submitting your guess, words that are in the correct location in the sentence will turn green and remain in place during your next guess. Words that are correctly adjacent to each other, but not in the correct location in the sentence, are linked and turn yellow. These yellow phrases will be moved as a single item for future guesses. If the keyword is correct but not in the right location, then the text will turn green, but its background will remain white or yellow. If the keyword is in the correct location but is not the correct word, then it will highlight with a green border around the key icon. If it is the wrong word, the text will be shown first in red, and then be replaced by the key icon. All other incorrect words will remain unchanged, with a white background.
Empty spaces between two green words, or from the beginning of the balloon to the first green word, will have a dotted line around each space, indicating the need to be filled in with a word.
Correctness for a word is based off its placement count from the beginning of the sentence, and its placement in the correct balloon.
For example, if the sentence solution is “Hey just try it” but you guess, “hey try it”, then the “hey” will be green, but the “try it” will only be in yellow, because it isn’t in the final correct position. If you guess “hey you try it”, the “hey” and “try it” will be green with a dotted empty space in between. If you guess “Right you got it”, the “it” will be green with three empty spaces before it, each marked by a dotted outline. A sequence of empty spaces must be filled in with the exact number of words.
If you guess a sentence correctly, but place it in the wrong speech balloon, it will only be yellow. Moving this sentence to the correct balloon will make it turn green.
Punctuation is automatically added to a sentence when that sentence is guessed correctly.
At the bottom, tap the history button to see your past guesses.
Once all the words are in the correct spot, if you haven’t guessed the keyword yet, you will be able to tap the lightbulb to get a hint.
