This is a tip for everyone watching. Garnet's grounded neutral charged is really good for dealing with people spamming Shaggy Kick or Banana Guard. It is charged and gives super armor. You will eat the kick or banana guard spear attack and knock them back, which should give you a chance to start pressuring them. She is my favorite character in the game. I have been playing her a lot and practice with her too. I think she is slept on. I would put her at an A-tier.

started playing her for down special off the map tackle trolling but i actually like the character now even if that gets nerfed. i used to hate so much on her for no reason but actually so fun

Also be careful with the star I died with my opponent to it so many times😂

gotta be careful with comboing with the ground up special, if they are shorter than you the bolt will just go over them and its punishable, it works on like half of the roster though

So sometimes I have difficulty applying the marker. It will be times where I am trying to finish an out of ring battle, then I will try to land the marker. Instead of flying to the marker she will do this doctor mario like stomp in the air. Is there a reason why she attacks instead of flies to the marker? Am I mistiming or is there a rule set for it?

I wish i recorded it but i think the first ever match i had, when multiverses returned, was using Garnet up against Mirrorman and i beat him... i think. It was the Day 1 official release so we was all still getting a feel for the game. Luckily i had practiced a bit with Garnet couple weeks earlier in the old beta I didnt know exactly who he was at the time but he had a golden name and i assumed he was a REALLY good player and had Early Access ofc. But i did not think he was a PROFESSIONAL player until i saw him fucking 9 stock Taz in Hungrybox's Tournament. Damn maybe i should have tried to enter the tournament.

@@kaspian9741 it definitely wasnt an easy win that's for sure. I'm too Humble to really gloat but I remember being so excited cause I had beaten someone with a golden name. I was like "Huh i still got it!" But I'd definitely love to run into him, Cosolix, or Void sometime in 1v1s and see how I stack up with my Garnet. I'm really push her into alot of people's higher tiers cause shes so good. 2 projectiles, can take a bit of damage, shes pretty strong, have a grab similar to Superman. Can stop projectiles and turn it against opponents, can break armor, can charge herself like Shaggy but slower, multiple moves that can kill. But I rarely see anyone playing her.

it was removed because you could get easy kills by sending it into the blast zone taking players with you and trading (idk if it's comin back)
