Eddie Rabbitt wrote and performed many hits throughout the 1970s and 1980s and this was one of his biggest. Drivin My Life not only reached the top of the country charts but it crossed over to the Billboard charts and almost become a #1 pop hit also.

    @@countrymusicguitarclassics I'm not a guitar player, but I've always liked "I Love a Rainy Night." I just recently started exploring the complete Eddie Rabbit catalog, and the algorithm caused your video to pop up. "Driving My Life Away" hit home with me because my brother is an over-the-road truck driver. What an infectious song… As another commenter said, you don't need to be a truck driver to relate to the song. The lyrics apply to life in general. I wish I had been able to catch Eddie live in concert, but KZread is almost as good! Keep up the good work!

    Can you teach us how to play ..You can't run from love...or Step by Step...by Eddie Rabbitt....I cant find cords or strum pattern for those 2 songs anywhere. And they are my favorite Eddie Rabbitt songs. Thank You.
