If I have more than one of the cards that my opponent asks to see, do I have to show him different cards each time or can I show him the same card. After all, I am showing them a card, which is part of the rules.

Also I don't know if this is the official rules but according to the video game on the Nintendo switch you can only make a suggestion in a room one time and then you have to move to a different room to make another suggestion. But then came go back to the room u where in

Question! When making a suggestion, we move the character that we suggested to the room I am at. But what if another person is playing that character which I suggest, how does he continue? Do I put his character back to where he was at, or do he continue from the new room?

Hi, when you go into a room and make a suggestion, you have to suggest the room you are in and you can suggest a character and weapon, that will be brought to the room. You have to enter the room again to make a suggestion. Cheers

No wonder I figured it out, with all the clues you left under me.

Hi, answering your questions: 1- Yes | 2- loudly and then the next player to your left show a card. If they do not have one, the next player on your left can show and so on 3- You play the pawn you chose (plastic miniature)

Hello! If you roll a dice and you are in a room where an escape room had and you move to the other escape room. Can you still move your token after moving to another escape room?

They just stay in the room and after you leave that room and when you are near to the room you wanted they will suggest you. If you enter a room and you make a suggestion, next turn you cannot make a suggestion on the same room you were. That should help :) Cheers!

I still have a question 🙋‍♀️ How to move into a room? If I dice 5 , can I choose which way to go? Like can I turn right or left or just walk straightly ?

You can travel anyway you want, but you cannot move diagonally and must enter a room through the doorways.

why are there multiple boxes on the sheet though ? do you have to cross them all at once?

Hi there, I dont know If you still needed this question answered but basically, the extra boxes are super important and I'm surprised they were not covered here Essentially, the boxes help you identify which players have which card that's been shown, as well as allowing you to theorize who can have what Example, you are playing scarlett and it is Peacocks turn. Peacock asks if it was Green with the candlestick in the library, in which case Orchid (or white depending on your version) shows a card to peacock. Now you know that orchid has one of those 3 cards and thus you can mark the possibility in a different box with a "?" As in maybe. It helps with strategizing and identifying other people's cards without actually having to see them and thus gaining evidence quicker

@@frogie7699wow this is super late and you might have already understood the game at this point but I’ll go for it. Basically it’s useful when during the rotation of showing cards and the players don’t have/deny that they have the suggested character, item, or place, you can take note of that and mark it on your sheet. You will eventually know which cards they have and which they don’t. For example: Your cards are Ms Scarlett, Knife, Library and one of the players suggested “Ms Scarlett, Knife, Lounge”, you’ll know who has the Lounge card since you have both Ms Scarlett and the Knife. It also gives you the advantage to cross it off of your own sheet

Because you can only make a suggestion when you are in a room. Therefore you have to move around the board to eliminate the rooms, suspects and weapons.

i’m confused about something, what’s the difference between a suggestion and a accusation. Also, cant you just keep making a suggestion until you have the answer?

Hi, the suggestions can be done every turn and will clarify any doubts you have. The accusation can be done once and if you get it right you win, but if you dont get it right, you are out of the game. Cheers

When you say magnifying glasses count as one, do you mean in a game without clue cards or do they count as 1 no matter what

They should you should just add a and let the referee be the only one allowed to look inside the detective case file with the three cards. Because once anybody makes an accusation and then looks at the three cards it's over

It's perfectly fair, since the 3 cards missing will be in the envelope. The point of the game, is to rule out suspects, weapon and room. If everyone had all the cards, then there would be no suspect in the envelope.. meaning, no murder and no point in playing lol

I think he says that if you make a accusation and are incorrect, then you are essentially out the game. Cannot move, make suggestions, or accusations. Kind of like you lose credibility and no one listens to your opinion afterwards hahaha. So, best moves are to suggest multiple times and collect info that way, and conceal your evidence so that you will solve the crime before someone else lol.
