i dont understand the power card
when the mini boss died and you said reset the board my heart dropped because i forgot that mini boss meant there was a main boss
those player boards are the most baffling designed things i've ever seen, it's like a company who had never played a game before but they already had better ones with the default set

Tengo un par de preguntas, ayer me compré el juego y estuve tratando de entender su funcionamiento. Una de las reglas dice que cada que se lleva al señor coral a una zona se pregunta si se activó la trama, pero para activar la trama el señor coral tuvo que haber recibido al menos un punto de daño, significa que no se pregunta eso hasta que efectivamente sea dañado el señor coral o siempre se preguntará? Otra duda, cuál es el sentido de la zona segura? El objetivo es llevar al señor coral hasta allá o a todas las habitaciones? Y para empezar a jugar dice que inicia el que se haya montado en avión más recientemente, es una regla literal? Si es asi de mi grupo de amigos yo siempre iniciaré primero jajajaa es aburrido, me imagino que se puede cambiar por otra regla como jugar al "par o none" o "piedra papel y tijeras" o simplemente lanzar un dado.
Hola, aquí tienes las respuestas: Respecto a preguntar si se ha activado el bloqueo, las reglas dicen que siempre preguntes. Pero tienes razón ya que si no recibió daño, no hay razón. En cuanto al significado de la zona segura, sabes que esa zona no estará en la lista de conspiradores por lo que puedes usarla como punto seguro para hacer tus primeros movimientos si no eres un conspirador. Y sobre el avión, sí, esta es la regla pero siéntete libre de utilizarlo como prefieras. ¡Gracias!

Alright, I love the new rules, but do I just count up my red cubes? If that chest, I'm adjacent to turns out to be a mimic 😭

What do you mean by "spend your action" do you mean do that instead of attacking? Can you still move on that turn if you "spend your action" to open a chest or something?
Hi, you can always move and do an action. Action is considered attacking, opening a chest and so on. Cheers!
@TabletopDuo ah okay. There wasn't really any reference to "actions" in the original rules because the only thing to do other than pop your items like estus etc was to attack.
Im still confused about two things. 1. The attack wheel for bosses. I understand that if you attack a bosses's arc that was red in their last attack, you get an extra die. For the green arcs, they attack all nodes in the arcs that are green, but what if the character they are targetting is not in a green arc? Does that character still get attacked? And then what happens in black arcs? What if there are no green arcs on the attack? 2. If an enemy data card has only a damaging push movement, and no attack and you are on the same node when they start their movement. Do you just take no damage? For example the big axe hollow. If you just stay on the same node as them can you just not be damaged cause they cant move towards you?
I guess for a new player, i would buy this core set and then buy the Characters Expansion and use those characters boards.
I want to play this but the characters card are horrible, you don't have the cubes anymore? Those cardboard squares are going to break appart so soon or you doing to loose them. Who ideia was to have the value number in the cardboard squares itself. Is is hassle to upgrade stats... the cubes were shut a better option. I guess I would play this new core sets using the old characters cardboard style.
Can put same action card after and action card? For example,🚫 sign card can pe played with same action card?

How i can find this expansion ?? :-(
I'm looking into buying the 3 new core sets. But quick question, how can I use older bosses(mini, main, mega)in the new version? Since there is not a campaign of such like in every older expansion books. Like Kalameet for example. It states you need certain expansions in order to play his campaign
Hi, so for mini and main you just replace the boss with the expansion boss. For mega, you play a level 4 encounter after defeating the main boss and then fight the mega boss. For the level 4 encounter, if you dont have the monsters it requires, use a random selection from the ones you have. Cheers!
But let's see. I got the main box, many expansions over the years including the Guardian Dragon, which is now not available for some reason(same as 4 kings and old iron king. Don't have them but they are not available for some reason) but I got the character box as well, and it feels like that box was not necessary since characters are in these 2 boxes as well
Ive just purchased this core set and know i want to expand, which sets would be most beneficial? Characters? Or what should i buy next? 😊

I think you gave the false impression that a player draws cards and then it’s the next player’s turn to draw cards.
When you showed the Sailor bonus card, you showed the Swimmer.

That was a great unboxing - I’m glad you edited it rather than us (the viewer) just watching you struggle with moving/opening/reattaching etc. and you didn’t have any focus issues with the camera focusing close and then far away. These are little things that make a good video!

Cette version 2 de dark souls est l'une des pires blagues ludiques que j'ai vu de ma vie. L'auteur de ce jeu est le plus mauvais auteur de tous les temps. Tous les gros problèmes de la V1 ont été conservés, et la manière dont on s'occupe du plateau de personnage est juste une honte en matière d'édition.... Ce jeu est entre les mains de quelqu'un de dangereux. Je ne comprends pas comment namco/fromsoftware à pu laisser sa licence à un tel imposteur...

Hi, yes both of these core sets are compatible. There is full compatibility with the mega boss expansions as well (asylum demon, manus, last giant, guardian dragon, old iron king, 3 kings, kalameet & votdt) Darkroot, Explorers, Iron Keep & Executioners chariot are partially compatible. Cheers!

You roll the dice for both. If you pass the dodge roll, you dodged. Otherwise you count the block roll.

Hello How to use this exp with core sets? I see that phantoms we can use with boss bot how about red? I play with next mechanic CORE set When i start encounter and i have ember i roll dice If 6, I random choose red phantom
