So does the 1,2 exercise on the major scale only work ascending? Coming down it seems the second finger wants to come down on the first beat when moving to the string below and I end up with a 2,1 pattern. Should I just resist the temptation to come down to the string below with 2 and keep it 1,2?

Hey Cole, I always wanted to ask you does it really help to have your bass with a low set up? Does having a low set up compromise your endurance? What would be your advice?

Hooh boy yes it helps, unless you want to spend years developing the nhop 3 finger its gonna be really really difficult and not worth the effort, most of the pros who play That wicked fast are having real low setups and you have to be really careful about not developing tendinitis

What E and A string are you using?

I can't do 1-2, I can only do 2-1 for faster passages
