    It was indeed, grazie Lex! I found very interesting your comment about the small pair board when you play at high stakes. I feel the game is getting more advanced also at the lower stakes, especially at the sit&go where you find many tough regulars who play quiet differently from the "average" behavior.... Would you consider teaching also some sit&go strategy (like 5/10 dollars stake)? That would be super cool and interesting! thanks Lex for the great content!

    Your videos are always helpful and very informational, I can’t really make any requests as the videos you’re putting out are already very good and help me improve my game, many thanks, I also took on board your advice about short stacks, I went down to 10 BB as I lost an all in AK against A2, I then played very patiently and managed to win the tournament!

    It's a huuuuuuuuge thing that people at low stakes completely disregard. 667 vs the big blind is an insanely tough board to play, not a dry flop like it seems

    Terrific summation to think about the motives of the opponent and the size of the bets they make, including the snap All-in call "Boom!!" --broadcasting to the world that your A-10 suited may not be strong enough!

    Thanks for the great content, it is so informative. Ive been playing for four years as a breakeven small stakes player and I learn a lot from watching streams but the dynamic is so different in high stakes that sometimes its hard to apply what I learn. These videos are excellent, keep making them!

    Great video as always Lex, thanks a bunch. I have a question about blockers. I THINK i understand most of it (but maybe my question will prove otherwise let's find out) . Asside from the obvious examples where you have like a Qh , the board has an AKJ all hearts, that means the vilain can't have a Q high flush. There is an obvious example of blockers. Other then that, how big becomes your (dis)advantage of having blockers when you say; "Me having A10 blocks their AK's"? It's like; yeah you block one ace, but there's plenty more. Isn't that margin so small it becomes negligible, and only muddies the waters when you try to give players a certain range?

  • @LexVeldhuisTV

    @LexVeldhuisTV

    Жыл бұрын

    The difference is that if you disregard blockers, you're going to do something way too much. So it's nice to be able to put a cutoff here. Like I want to call here a reasonable amount, but we cant ALWAYS call. So to distinguish when to call and not call, lets just call when we have good cards to do so in our hand, and when we don't, don't.

    Nice video lex! While I am watching this video the thought comes to my mind that people play different against you because you are you in terms of "okay now I try to bluff him out of the pot so I can say I beat lex" if you know what I mean! So is there a chance that you maybe record one episode with an different account? Always apprechiate this learning videos! 🌱🚀

    Would be very much against TOS and in the end I think people try to play good. Still playing for real money at stakes they normally play at. Plus someone doing something random vs me isn't anything different from someone being drunk and doing something random vs you.
