I definitely think overfolding on river against opponents who showed massive strength is the best tip in this video. 9. Fold more to 3bets. Especially if you open hands like AJo/AQo from early pos and get 3b from an unknown. Some might say "Woot your're folding AQo to a single 3b pre?!" But you to be crushing his hand requires villain to 3b hands like AJ/AT, that people just arent 3betting barely ever vs utg. Instead, call with suited hands, and pocket pairs (given you are deep enough) where you can stack an overpair every time if you hit a set. That is actually an exploit vs a tight 3betting range as well. They will always have the high overpair or AK, and will always call you down when you hit a set or nutflush.

I found in low stakes live 2-5, people don't even care what position opening raise is from, most of them like playing BINGO and will call a 20-30$ open (4-6bb) just to see a flop, then you get 3 more callers to follow. Any of them flop a flush draw and they'll call any size c-bet to try and hit BINGO. It really is crazy how soft 2-5 games are in the States. Area of higher incomes it's even more pronounced.

As a 2/2 and 5/5 grinder I think that this is gold. Also 1 more tip that I recently noticed is that when you are bored and there is no action, take one of the semi decent regs and study him for the entire night. What size he uses when he has value, what size he uses when he has bluffs. Half of the winnings from January comes from a guy who bluffs with multiple of 10 chips and whenever he has value he ads couple of 5s no matter the sizing. It s so obvious for me and is such a gold mine that sometimes I really call him light knowing I lose just for him not to catch up that I know this.

My two takeaways for myself to implement immediately since I grind low stakes tournaments $20 and lower mid week and $33 and higher weekends if I can satty in(last 8 months I’ve played about 3.5-4k tournaments to show I’m putting in volume in these streets haha) 3betting size based on the strength of hand also bet sizing post flop based on the strength of your hand(specifically at these low stakes)- I got stuck in the mind set of one 3bet size for all hands to stay balanced. You’re right Ben, low stakes players don’t give a shit if you raise 2.5 or 4x. GET VALUE! Consistency over trying to get binks - I still have yet to cash 1K in a tournament (biggest cash was actually 660 this Sunday in a global poker series event) and honestly sometimes it fucks with me. I get down sometimes seeing players and friends I know cash for huge sums and I know they don’t study half as much as I do. This results in me maybe playing too aggressive around the bubble or pay jumps because I always have the mentality “I’m not going for cashes I’m going for wins”. Which results with more pain than happiness in the long run because winning a tournament especially online is hard as shit. Sorry for the long response i just popped my adderal for the first time in weeks 😅😅 ich libe dich schön BEN! Your tip about tightening up and "F GTO charts" is something I was doing before I studied those charts and since I stopped studying those charts. Went on a huge downswing then stopped relying on them. I get called a nit by a few regs but I make way more deep runs than them and don't have nearly as many rebuys. Pick your spots people. Edit: To touch on the "bink one then lose lose lose lose lose"...some of these guys make deeper runs slightly more often than I do but they also cash way less often and it takes them 5 bullets to get there.

Not to be mean but why talk about yourself so much in the comment section? Maybe give some tips that work for you or ask a question that could help you and others. I'm really not trying to be mean but if this is what your like in your interactions with friends and love ones then a piece of advice that maybe helpful is not making everything about yourself, a lot of times people might not even know their doing it.

No.4 made me laugh Ben because I did exactly that last night in a tourney - tried to bluff a fish off top pair on the river after a snap snap flop and turn call. Einstein said nothing can move faster than the speed of light, he obviously didn't play poker... the snap call I got on the river blows that theory out of the water....... and you're obviously correct, I'm the one who is the idiot, not him. You play tighter when you are in the money. Your chips become more valuable. So once you make the money in a tournament ranges should be tighter as you get closer to the big prize

I know how the game changes when you’re at FT, FT bubble or ITM bubble, I used to be a part time pro. The thing I don’t get is last year or two years ago the notion was oh be aggro because everyone else is tight so you make money off the scared players, now it’s ah but icm already starts at 70-80% players left etc. I think I’ve figured over the last hour though what Ben wanted to say or what adjustment I can make
