There's something very satisfying about how you said, "Always remember whether you're making the right call in the long run or not, sometimes you will lose, and sometimes you will win." Sometimes its easy to forget this, thank you.

Great to hear, thanks! And welcome to the channel :)
“Yeah that was corny” was absolutely perfect.
Watching the video over, pausing, rewinding, processing the information, it feels really satisfying to understand more about how these bosses play out/GTO in these spots. Thank you for your great work!

Hey love your stuffs man. at 3:40 It's hard for me to believe AA is bluff catch 80% vs shove but only bluff catch 56% vs 19bb raise ? I thought we get to fold more when they raise big ?
@2CardConfidence
Жыл бұрын
Thanks! You're right, we fold more vs a bigger raise. But that is with our range. It doesn't necessarily mean that every hand gets to fold more. Here it seems like the sim calls AA more vs a bigger raise because it blocks a bigger part of the opponent's value range. To make it really simple: if the BB always jams with a wheel straight and never makes it 19BB with it, then AA are a great nut blocker only against the jam and not against the 19BB raise. This is highly theoretical and is likely near to impossible to estimate in practice, but that's where the numbers in the sim come from.
I folded AA and called K8. I dont need no damn GTO.
hi is the 10% off 1st purchase still working? clicked that link but when try to purchase for 1 year it does not show any discount

Just tested it and it's working for me (Should say "Enjoy a 10% discount for your first purchase, thanks to - 2CC." in yellow). Are you maybe using an account that has already had a subscription before? I've also contacted them, if it's still not working for you, we'll figure it out.

Hm sounds like you did everything exactly right. Could you add me on Discord (2 Card Confidence#9362) or send me an email to info@2cardconfidence.com? Then I'll let you know as soon as I hear back from GTOW on how we'll proceed

in the AA hand, wouldnt the solver fold a lot more if there was option to bet 10k instead of 3.8k? Isnt it wrong to assume the calling frequency is accurate when Stefan bet twice as much?
@matta5749

He showed both the 19bb size and all in. AA calls about 18% against an all in. It’s basically just a 0 EV bluffcatcher no matter what size Stefan uses.
@2CardConfidence

Yes, what Matt says. You're right that against a bigger size, Linus should fold more of his RANGE. Interestingly, in this solution, he would actually call his combo more often against a shove than against a 19BB raise. Blocker effects play a big role here, so frequencies will be extremely sensitive to any deviations in reality. But to sum it up, it is a 0 EV bluff catcher in both cases.

how are we supposed to know that villains most common bluffs are 7s and 6s in the last one? why would i be happy to bluff with t7 for instance?

All I can think of when watching this is how much rake GG and similar sites are stealing out of these games. These two guys must have VERY good private rakeback deals, or Stefan must be a fish. Otherwise paying half a blind every single hand is just ridiculous.
I hate how every video Ive ever watched of somone using a solver doesnt tell you what any of the colors or numbers actually mean. Ive learned it at this point but they just always assume the viewer knows already, which is presumptuous.
Sometimes you lose sometimes you win😜😝🤪
This is a good example of people being lazy with GTOW. Dont do this people. Atleast use the correct betsizes and rake structure when reviewing hands.
Blah blah blah
Lmaooo ur not a good poker player if you use gto 😂
