You are a very successful teacher, a real teacher "without marketing". You are also a very good guitarist.

Hah... love it... “The classical guitar police”... I should be be doing back to back life sentences for the amount of broken rules I’ve committed 🤣

Some pretty neat flubbing. Your mega-fast/shreddy arpeggios remind me of the rules of essay-writing: start and end well, and nobody cares about the middle.

@@TheVersatileGuitarist more "crossover" stuff like this please: there's plenty of classical/flamenco tutorials on KZread but few videos covering the pushing of boundaries.

Villa Lobos was big into sweepy arpeggios - check out his much imitated Etude No.2 also the B section of Prelude No.1 amongst others. Good practice.

Ooh err... hadn't heard of these pieces but just checked them out: totally insane! I now feel so bad about my apparently pathetic ability.....

When you say you don’t have to know the number are you implying that knowing the exact intervals doesn’t matter? Not an attack just a genuine question

No. But most people don’t know or care about that, and that’s just the way it is. And the truth is you don’t have to know what you’re doing to have fun doing it
