when did you plant it

it has to sit in the ground for ten months over winter. if you just planted it, then a few stalks sounds about right. leave it till next June and feed it over the summer and winter. harvest late next June.

Jute string self-destructs naturally and is sold in a good-sized roll at Dollar-and-a-quarter (plus tax) Tree! Garden on, friend. What zone are you in? I'm in z5b, Milwaukee, Wisc where I'm still planting our community bed in our garden. I'm almost ready to harvest my second year's (Y2)Transylvanian garlic, which is still quite tasty, trimmed of roots and stalk. Your video is well-done and informative. I couldn't recall about the [clove-size : bulb-size] ratio/correlation, so thanks for clearing that for me! We will try different garlic-spots in the garden this fall, Y3.

I love the jute. I mistakenly called it hemp. I am in zone 8 at 500 feet elevation. We have rather cold nights here with hot days. I am at the base of Mt Rainier. I'm sure it has a huge impact on our weather. Thanks for watching the channel. Sincerely Leaners
