I think you are a “sweet little flower.” Thanks for your help! This will be my first year growing anemones.
Lovely presentation. I’ll soak the corms and plant out this afternoon. Best wishes from northern NSW, Australia ~ daily winter temp 20’ and sunny ☀️
Brilliant detailed clear tutorial...shes correct "Thats all you need to know about growing anemones in pots" well done & thanks.
Great planting tip for pots
Most excellent tutorial.Found this very useful. Still after many years I still can't remember which way up the corms go.
Thanks Naomi. I found this really helpful and look forward to seeing my anemones in a couple of months.

Thank you very easily explained
Thank you Farmer Gracy
Great tip to soak them before, Naomi. Please can you do more of such videos?
Fantastic video. Thank you very much
Great video 👍
Keep going ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you! Lovely video.❤️
Thanks for info
Hi. Thank you for your video! An I okay to plant them now, in August?
I have just bought some Anemone Mistral® Rarity . And anemones Nero and albino anemones
Can I leave them over winter in the same pot planted in or do I need to dig them up and store them dry?
I bought the Blue Fullstar, and have planted them on a seed tray and they have just started sporuting. But the bulbs seed looked small and round and what ever that's sprouting looks purple brown leaf stem. 🤔 But I'm not sure if it's hardy like u say on this video as online on your site it only says perennial.
I like that pot!
Do you need to lift in the winter ? Thank you
I have put the corms in March is that the suitable time?
Came here to find out which is the top and bottom of the corm, thank you.
Do you have to lift them in the fall?
Lovely video, thank you, will they come back year after year? 🙂

Yes, they will come back and be a lovely garden addition year after year.
I assume "compost" in the UK is equivalent to potting soil in the US? There is also a compost product in the US, but I believe Naomi is using what I would call potting soil. True? Very nice video, by the way!

Yes, that is absolutely right. We use compost/potting soil for house plants, windowstill herbs etc. Results are fantastic if you know what compost to get.

@@thisworld4546 Perfect. Thank you!
I bought 2 of these, already established and potted they were very wilted when I bought them and the stems were all tangled I sorted them all and removed dead stems and head and replanted them in a bigger pot but they are still very flat and lifeless looking what else can I do to make them less limp. I could send a pic if that's possible?

Its possible they were at the end of their flowering stage when you got them, they should flower again next year :) You could dig them out and replant as Farmer Gracie did for best results :)
Fabulous video, THANK YOU. My bulbs are very odd looking, they’re black, almost charcoal look like(but still firm)...I’m afraid that I’ve had them too long (bought in spring last year). In your infinite wisdom do you think it’s worth a go?

@@beverleygarnon3519 THANK YOU for replying, that’s made my day. I’ll give it a go. X
Well the ones I ordered from you have a distinct point so I’m guessing that that is the top. I’d be interested to know why the ones you are planting are at least 6 times larger than the ones I got from you 🤔
This year I have a gorgeous pink double and an amazing burgundy one. Also called Lilies of the Field as in surely Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed as one of these. Matthew 6 verse 28 Do not worry your Heavenly father knows what you need......I make compost from coffee grounds, and egg shells, cut banana skins and orange peel which makes it smell good, mix it with ordinary compost, result good!
That kind of plant is to your rigth? Is it hampa??

😂
Do not add rocks to the bottom. It raises the moisture line and can cause root rot.
