How to plan your interrail (a guide to planning, budgeting, route)
04:57 I said countries but as you can see I wrote the cities. That's what you need to write. I was talking without actually reading it...didn't end well.
After my interrail trip I received a lot of questions about my experience and how I planned it. I made this video and I hope it answered all your questions. If you have any just comment down below. I didn't talk about clothes because it really depends on what you like to wear.

there is no 7 pm rule anymore since 2020. You have to write down the departing day of the train.

I always wondered how it worked. Can you take as many trains as you can within 24 hours for it to count as 1 day on the pass

There is still option to save travel days by taking night trains. Or at least thats what i found when i did my research

Una pregunta, para los trenes nocturnos, aplicando la regla de las 7pm, si quiero ir por ejemplo de Milan a Ljubljana pero entremedio a las 3am me deja el tren en Villach (Austria), al haber llegado alli antes de las 4am me consume 2 dias del pase de interrail... digo esto, porque en todos los trenes nocturnos q estoy mirando q me interesan siempre hay transbordos antes de las 4am porque no hay trenes directos entre las ciudades que me interesan nunca... entonces lo de los trenes nocturnos es un timo porque solo va a haber 1 de 10 q sera directo y encima te consume dos dias del pase envez de uno...
all these videos i'm seeing have the physical copy of the pass - can you not just use the mobile pass?

i saw your reservation brussel to paris..thats not worth to use that route..normal price for bus is only 15 euro..u can google blabla bus..sometime they sell 1 euro ticket formore than 8 hour journey.interaril is best to use in expensive country like switzerland.....zurich to geneva ,just less than 3 hour cost 80 euro

Alô! Acho que meti na descrição os hostels em que fiquei. Recomendo imenso do Lucky Lake em Amsterdão. O de Paris não foi excelente mas também não foi o pior em que já fiquei. Os de Roma não gostei nada nada nada. O de Bruxelas foi bom.

that’s correct! It still applies but the terms changed. If you are getting a night train it only counts as one day, the day of your departure. So on that day you can travel as much as you want, then get your night train before midnight and it only counts as one day!

I wasn’t aware the terms changed when I did the video. I did my interrail without getting any night train (instead of what I initially planned)

@livsxcute I done completely forgot. Summary: interrail/Eurail can be cheap relative to other prices but they don't tell you that you still have to pay additionally for your own reservations which you have to call to do with each company on the phone and there aren't many safety nets for the countless mistakes and errors that it produces. Including not getting your money back for all the reservationsyou make or days you don't use if a train is even slightly late. It has tons of frustrating and unnecessary procedures. I give interrail 2/5 stars.
