Hi Chris! Wanted to ask, I have color treated fine oily hair (very intense, unnatural red) and was wondering if the color changes anything about the shampoo that I should use. Pulp Riot sadly doesn't exist in my country, nor do I find it on amazon (I live in europe). So can I still go for Redken's Volume Injection, or is something else maybe better?

That said, I have coarse hair but also some hairline recession and thinning. As a result, I've been using topical 5% minoxidil at night. Once it dries it gets kind of sticky but by morning it feels alright. I could probably easily go a week without washing, but I'm concerned about the minoxidil building up. @@carlysmith8971 I am still using them. My hair doesn't get oily during the day even if it's hot, but I'm still not comfortable leaving it unwashed, because it does get greasier than I want it to be, which makes my skin oilier, which causes me to break out. So I still wash every day, I only wash my hair once and use the cleansing cream about every third wash, but overall I really am much happier than I was before. I also need to use far less conditioner than if I buy cheaper ones.

So while growing up I was pushed to wash my hair every few days or so. Then after a few years of skipping washes due to one reason or another, I can go at least a week before it seems to get even a tiny bit oily. If I used the dry shampoo technique (at 4:30) after 4 days... well, it wouldnt change a thing. It still feels and looks clean in the first place... It might sound gross to some people... but it works - I think? I would absolutely love for this guy to get his hands on my hair. I like showing them stuff that works(not telling them how to do their job but more of the kind of products I've been used to). I have medium 2c wavy hair. Those times I've had hair done they appreciate feedback. It helps them hone their craft better. Everyone's different but its definitely part of the hair journey. 😊

@@sophiafigueroa2228 well depending on what you buy for your hair, I make sure to research it to see if the pH level is balanced( 4.5 to 5.5). Calia shampoo is really good natural stuff. Plus I also like Viori ricewater shampoo and conditioner bars. I have been using those for a few years now and it works wonders. Shiny hair, light, no buildup, natural. Plus I've seen mega growth in baby hairs growing fast over the past year. So try some natural stuff see what works. Depending on what you what to do with your hair.

Chris! Watching you has absolutely, positively revolutionized the health of my hair! I have spent my life thinking I had fine, hard to grow hair. Through watching you and using your Trinity hair care system, I think I have come to understand I have neither! I am, however, having a tough time deciding if I have medium or course hair. I can easily go 6-7 days without washing my hair.....does this fact automatically qualify me for course? Does hair diameter matter in this equation? Even though I can easily go a week without washing my hair, it does not hold a curl very well. Might this be more related to using the wrong products? Regardless, I am definitely on the right track to getting the most out of my hair, and it is all due to you!!!

When I experienced hair fall, I did all the following to successfully control it: Include scalp massage into your routine. Don’t use very hot water when washing your hair. Protect your hair from excessive sweat. Use a dual tooth neem comb to brush out wet hair. Cut down on your sugar and processed food intake. Use natural hairfall control shampoo and hair oil like Littleeextra cocconion. Maintain a positive mindset for overall well being.

Cutting down on sugar is what saved your hair. Excess sugar can cause insulin sensitivity which messes with hormones and even can contribute to pcos and diabetes. Hormones are a huge contributor to the health of hair. The other things you mentioned are a nice haircare routine, but none of that would stop the hair coming out of the root, unless you had the habit of yanking the brush through. The real change was cutting the sugar. Good for you, I hope you continue to see progress!!

This is the best definition of fine hair I've ever seen; the flat-to-the-head thing, that it needs washing very regularly or the roots (and then shafts) can get oily and make it look lank quite quickly. I'm a guy who always assumed that he had course hair, mainly because it's quite thick and often frizzes-up, and it's only because a new hairdresser dubbed it 'fine' recently that I started thinking otherwise. The only thing is, my hair can feel quite dry a lot of the time, so it's a bit paradoxical.

I have a super sensitive scalp and have fine hair (that's now bleached). Do the products you recommend generally do well with those sensitive to some chemicals? It's hit or miss with me but I can get irritation from products professionals swear by. Cleaner the better but I want products that work. Thank you for all of your videos!
