We’ll teach you how to pick the perfect sunglasses for your face type to look stylish. Make the right fashion choice following some simple expert advice.
First off, you’ll need to determine what your face shape actually is. To do this, grab a dry-erase marker, a tube of lipstick, a bar of soap, or a pencil. Stand arm's length away from a mirror and look straight ahead. Carefully trace the outline of your face on the mirror's surface. Then, take a step back and look at the resulting shape. Yours will be one of the following six types: round, oval, rectangular triangular, square, or heart-shaped.
It’s also important that you pay attention to UV protection, pick the most comfortable fit and the right lens color for you. Remember that you have to be careful what material the lenses are made from. Use only scratch-resistant lenses because sunglasses that get scratched become useless. SUMMARY
-If you have a round face, your task is to visually lengthen it, so choose glasses with dark frames. To balance your facial proportions, choose a frame where the width is greater than the height.
-Your main goal is to not disturb your oval face's perfectly harmonious proportions. The frame of your glasses should be as wide as your face or a little wider.
-If your face is square, try to soften its sharp angles and visually balance out your overall facial proportions with large glasses.
-Aim to make your rectangular face appear visually broader. Go for large, massive-looking glasses and make sure they have thin frames that match your skin tone.
-In case you have a heart-shaped face, your goal is to balance out the upper portion of your face by making the lower part appear bulkier. Choose glasses with frames only as wide as your face and no bigger.
-Try to trick the eye and broaden the upper half of your triangular face while making the lower portion less conspicuous. Choose sunglasses with a large wide frame.
-To protect yourself from health risks, pick sunglasses that block at least 95% of UV rays.
-Remember sunglasses shouldn't feel uncomfortable, too small and squeezing your head.
-Lens color can reduce the intensity of light, affect contrast and decrease color recognition - so pick the right color.
-Be careful what material the lenses are made from. Use only scratch-resistant lenses because sunglasses that get scratched become useless.
-Take a UV flashlight, and shine it through the lens of the sunglasses at any fluorescent object.
-Look at a reflective surface with your bare eyes, then put on the glasses, and look again. If the glasses are polarized, the glare should disappear.

@Don Espoleto Honestly, you need someone to tell you if they look good or not. You need an outside perspective because your view of yourself is probably somewhat distorted. Of course you need your own as well opinion as well. Even just taking pictures would help because I have looked in mirror and thought glasses looked good then looked and pictures that I took and realized they were horrible on me. The reversed as happened as well.Personally, I can tell what looks good or bad on other people more than I can tell on myself. On another note, I think people who have the attitude of just wear what you want because you're the only person that matters are wrong. I mean people judge you for the way you look and that person could possibly be the person who decides if you get a job or not or if you get a loan or anything like that. They may or may not consciously be looking at how you are dressed but they are subconsciously.

True! Also take a pic with 2 different shapes of glasses and ask random people which ones they like better on you. And they're not gonna answer the same thing. So you should only think about yourself, because there will always be people who think something doesn't suit you. For example I think most women look better with short hair or with a bun / ponytail. Maybe because you can see the whole face, neck and shoulders, I don't know, but girl with a bun immediately becomes sexier to me. But I noticed there's this stereotype that long hair makes you look best, so there must be lots of people who think that way.

For diamond face, I believe nearly ALL sunglasses shapes suits it. I myself have a diamond shaped face and find it easy to get the suitable pair of sunglasses.

My face is oval and I have butterfly and rectangular sunglasses, my everyday glasses are a mix between cat's eyes and rectangular I guess.
Polarised glasses may play tricks when you take photos using a polariser filter. Half of my viewfinder was covered with funny dark crosses... good that I didn't have to focus manually.
