I would also recommend a toilet-mounted bidet! For around $50, you can get one that attaches to a water line and has variable adjustments and pressures so that you wash away waste and get completely clean every time, saving a ton of paper. You might want one of these to use with a wash cloth for drying afterward. I will never not have a real bidet again! It eliminates urinary tract infections from not getting clean.

By the time I thought about getting one, there wasn't enough time before my shoulder surgery to get one and install it. One thing that made me hesitate is that the water line that it would hook to is on the same side as that shoulder, so I assume the controls would be on that side too, which would defeat the purpose.

This issue is not talked about enough! Many of us have dexterity problems without obesity. surgery or other disabilities.I was able to manage fine until I had shoulder surgery. Thankfully, I got the second device which I like and is a life saver. At least I have independence in the toilet while recovering! Thanks for your videos and demonstrations!

@@EquipMeOT Want the best? Get a garden sprayer and heat the end to curve it and then adjust the sprayer nozzle to clean your butt first, in Asia they all use a sprayer (lived there for 5 yrs) and you will find it heals hemorrhoids super fast and keeps them healed, and it is the best feeling and cleaning you will ever find, and you use alot less toilet paper as well. Trust me, try it once and you will be hooked for life!

I have just had my dominant shoulder operated on, while my other hand is keen to assist, I have been surprised at how differently it handled 'activities'. I can see the thought that has gone into these aids, which happily for me, I have not yet needed. The spinal operation highway has already been travelled now the rotator cuff rebuild pathway is being explored. Thank goodness for women who can cover touchy subjects with such a clear, 'let us get this sorted attitude'. I need to get sorted, it is only day 6, and I am probably doing more that I should, but I now live alone and must avoid the mantrap of letting thing overwhelm me. You are a great inspiration, even if things deteriorate, there are solutions to bring them back from the brink of disaster without drama.

I had one like the second one which just completely bit the dust. Since I put pressure on the stick against the toilet seat, it had begun separating and I had to duct tape it so it wouldn't pinch my skin, and now the part near the release button is coming off. I have the Juno portable with a travel case for when I'm out, so I'm thinking of getting the one piece one for home, but I'm hoping it can stand up to the pressure.

I think because you've gotta grip so hard while pushing that button on the end. I've been considering getting a new one but don't have much money. I don't know which one to get. Other than handle prob, the blue one has been OK. I do a little dif when using. I just wrap enough toilet paper to use a few times in one sitting. Tearing off as I wipe. This might sound stupid, but being female , weren't we all raised to wipe from front to back when having a bowel movement, so as not to get any type of female infection?

I had to scroll a very long way to find someone who feels as I do about the direction she tells folks to wipe! Infection of a most unpleasant kind!! Lol

@meowrchl97 We were talking about #2, wipe front to back, from behind, upwards motion. For those with female genitalia this helps avoid irritating (and embarrassing) infections.

It doesn’t appear that they’re one-hand friendly. My daughter has CP and is unable to stand easily, she also only has the use of one hand. Maybe the portable bidet? Thank you so much for doing this

I wish I had a bidet. Never get a good wipe. Usually just wash rectum with extended shower head.

Definitely a possibility. It takes some practice and possibly a modification or 2. I would probably start with the Freedom wand because of the length adjustment potential since a kiddo will not need quite as much length as an adult.

Brought them all none of them work all end in the trash. The first one was the worse toilet paper keep falling out even with six square and who going to pull all those rubber band off and touch dirty stool paper after the wipe. You have take your hands and pull a dirt paper out. Have to reload and used much more paper. A roll of paper doesn't if you often in a day if clean twice or three time each use. You have to have good wrist and fingers movement and arm movement. These are good for normal hands. to used and clean.

I have the one at 4:36...don;t buy this one...the bumpy thing is in the front...you wipe with the back. There's also no way to get rid of the toilet paper...and the opposite end breaks and won't stay in. I'm talking about where the button is 6:41.

GREAT VIDEO! THANK YOU! I JUST HAVE ONE POINT AND IT'S NOT YOUR VIDEO OR PRODUCT DEMONSTRATIONS . . . IT'S THE TOILET PAPER AMOUNT . . . I DON’T KNOW ANYONE THAT USES THAT LITTLE AMOUNT OF TOILET PAPER . . . THEY NEED TO REDESIGN THESE BETTER. NOT TO MENTION, IT'S NOT VERY HYGIENIC BECAUSE IT'S NOT AT ALL ENOUGH TOILET PAPER TO CLEAN SOMEONE'S BOTTOM . . . FAR FROM IT.
