How to photograph Refraction in Water Glasses

Let's have fun with photographing refraction in water glasses. We don't need to have a deeper understanding of the laws of physics, to let them work for us. Stunning images of distorted patterns and colours in water glasses are easy to create. You don't need to have any specialised equipment to do it and basically any camera has what it needs.

Dankeschoen Petra!

Good stuff, Oliver!! I am going to try one with a plastic glass and use a WHITE backdrop generated by my laptop and incorporate a polariser -- just to see what I get?? But this one looks pretty cool too -- I also like the budget-friendly setups!! :-)

The polariser on the screen is a fantastic idea, I'm pretty sure that will give some interesting effects! Oh, and I love budget friendly setups ;)

Just the normal image processing. Only the one with two glasses is mirrored in Photoshop.
