You actually do not have to go to the trouble of only diving. Its all about them resetting to ping. So, yes! You can dive, go to Maine St. Or even more easily, inside your house. As long as you can not be seen by villagers in the town area for about 10 minutes, then this tip works for all 3. Also flowers is a great idea, but not the only one. You can also fill the bag full of bells. Its all about process of elimination. This way they can not ask you to deliver, trade or buy items off of you. Since these options are now cycled out, the chances of a pwp being cycled in is higher, but they still can ping for dumb things. Lets say giving a nickname and so on. I use the house and Maine St method on all of my multiple towns the last 3.5 years, always works. Find it easier then wading in the water. But all these methods work. And still can take time, or be super fast. As with anything, patience is required.

@@iz849 I know it's been forever but, no they will not.. if u fill it up with each bag containing 99,000 bells (maybe even less??) then whatever they would have tried to sell u would not be able to fit in your inventory because the bag of bells used was not used fully leaving it still in your inventory even if with less bells..

I love how short and to the point your videos are, it is very convent for when I just want to find something out quickly, and I don't have to watch you do a whole bunch of other stuff, because you only put what is important into your videos!

Well except for resetti all of them are friendly. =p And I hope you enjoy it! its really easy to get addicted. I will tell you all you need to know from here since I don't give out my friend code for privacy. reasons.

You can also have shells filling your pockets. I do this instead, so I don't have to place the flowers down again, I just sell the shells at retail since they reapawn

So I was trying to get a spinet lobster in ACNL and so I looked it up. I didn’t fine the video I wanted and I already knew this trick. You’re video was AMAZING in explaining how to do that though so good job. But what I really wanted to say was that I think watching your video all the way through rather that skipping it gave me good luck because I caught my spiny lobster RIGHT AFTER watching. Thank you!! I just have one more diving creature to go now and I’ll have finished both the water exhibit in the museums and my entire encyclopedia!

Everytime I do this, they ask me what my favorite color is or something. It’s so frustrating! I actually get requested pwps more if I’m just naturally catching bugs, fish, or watering my flowers. But that’s just me and my bad luck, probably.

I've always known how to do it (briefly) but your in-depth guide gave me a definite knowledge of this and I will rewatch lots

I have marina and Sly they give me the most projects but i will try this strategy

it has to do with the fact you're waiting outside. the longer you spend in-game "playing" outside without going into buildings or onto main street, the more likely villagers will ping you. this goes for pretty much every AC game i'm pretty sure. that's why the 5-minute wait ups your chances so much.

Some did this and final,y got a fairy themed thing (street light to be exact ) my Intire town is pink so that was necessary

What I would add if you are brand new to ACNL only one PWP can be suggested per day.

I did it for 5 minutes after getting off from the island. This was because I just bought the wet suit. I think it didnk work, because I picked flowers from the island then used those, instead of going on land, where the villagers would know I'm there. When I went back no one pinged me, probably because they didn't know I was back yet, or I had to stay longer than 5 minutes

I find that I get the best pings if I have a villager on the beach and go fishing in the ocean away from them for five minutes. Got almost 4 pings alone from Cyrano when he was just walking on the other side of the beach and I happened to walk past him as I was looking for fish. I didn't get any projects but did buy a legit painting from him for the museum so I wasn't even mad lol.

I just realized that my town's geography is not too different from yours. The only differences I can see are that my town hall is a little further south than yours, and the easternmost segment of river is further north than your river. Other than that, not too many differences in layout, including the location of re-tail's and the player's house. Interesting.

Nope, you can keep those since villagers won't ask to see or have your letters (thankfully!)

As Crystal stated in the video, it's not going to happen the first time, it can take multiple tries since villagers can still ask you things besides requesting pwps.

This hasn't worked for me. I've tried it 3 times and this has been the outcome: 1. Midge responds - wants to know what food represents her best. (Time in Ocean: 5 mins) 2. Wendy responds - Nickname (Time in ocean: 7 mins) 3. Mitzi responds - Wants to move out (Time in ocean: 10 minutes) I've followed this guide as I do it and even tried other methods. Is there anything I'm doing wrong? If so, can you tell me?

What do you mean doing wrong? You're doing absolutely everything right! I mention in the video that this is just a *chance* that they will ask for a PWP. Your villagers still "pinging" you shows that you're doing everything right, it's just that your villagers are asking for other stuff. There's not much you can do beyond continue trying :P

I was doing this trick, for me it didn’t work. A few days after that, I was walking out of the re-tail, I got asked for the police station. Best day eVeR

You don't have to do that, what i do is continue making a path which is away from all villagers and that take like 50 to 60 minutes for me.

Everytime I do this I only ever get requested for nickname changes. And villagers I want to pin me never doooo
