    Im learning on superbikes, im getting ok, but I haven’t slammed it into second yet, and i dnt have quick shift! So must i use clutch to put in second? Or still just dnt use clutch on the wheelie

    Exactly, know your bike. I'd have to do this in 2cnd gear, Z1000 is geared low and I'd loop it trying this in 1st....not to mention it would soon be revving pretty high so I'd have to shift or set it down.

    @@MrKitty-zv3dl Yeah but If you know your bike and have throttle control and good brake work its no problem... I have no problem with 1st gear wheelies on 600's or 1000's

    Thumbs up! I have a Benelli TRK 251 I tried the clutch release with throttle. Bike wont just lift up even a little

    Release throttle, pull clutch as you rev alil n take your hands off clutch you should hear your engine rev louder that means your making progress anytime you hear the engine rev higher

    I have a Ninja 400, which, yes, I know, it’s a bad bike to try and wheelie since its just a 400, but Ive gotten the hang of getting the front wheel of the ground, but every time I do, it just comes right back down. How do I keep it in the air and hold the wheelie longer????

    Play with body positioning you have to maneuver and act as an extension of it. There are a lot of variables to play with to find what way you like best but the basics will get you there once you get them down first aye

    Any experienced wheelie kings around to answer a few questions.. If your only use to power wheelies and new to clutching up would you recommend 2nd as first can be alittle erratic on my zx10.. Also I heard if you use 1st and go for second you run the risk of hitting neutral..then your in the shit.. so that's why I asked start in second gear.

    Dumping in first on a 600 - 1000cc sounds like a high risk. I'd imagine it's more safer to do on a 125cc

    I'm trying to wheelie with my 2002 cbr 600f. I use the clutch but the rear wheel simply loses grip and skids, in short, I can't lift the front wheel even by an inch.

    Then you either have really bad tires, or too much weight on your arms and therefore wrong weight distribution

    @@t16205 I have a pair of dunlop qualifier (around 2k so they are new) and my weight is 65kgs. I was able to do a wheelie with my old 125 4strokes and my old bmw r1200r... this cbr always skids. btw thank you (:

    @@88swordmaster My friend has a 2001 f4i, and his wheelies easy on 1st and 2nd. I think it may be the body position. Try not to lean on your arms, hold on with your feet and knees and make sure youre not sitting on the tank. My 2 cents.. Gl

    If I wanted to learn this. I would get me a 50cc or a 125cc second hand. I wouldn't try this on my bike.

    Dont think 1st gear is a good idea, even on the 750, i have two gixxer 1000s k2 and k5 and if i done that id be looped

    l wonder how many accidents are happening every year because of wheelies.. its really sad that there is no safety awareness ... few days ago a 24 and 20 yr old dude from my parents neighborhood collided with a lamp post just 100m after some traffic lights. the only reasonable explanation is a wheelie gone wrong.. unfortunately we cannot ask them anymore!!!
