Great tips mate. I remember when it was introduced into the navy (late 80s/early 90s?) way before apps! Never really had a problem with it even when I left at the age of 45 in 2005. Im applying for an scholarship so I thought I would be doing all my fitness tests in two years after I had finished my a levels. Im currently running to 6.2 but I need to be getting 7.6 if they test me as a junior. It’s really frustrating because I can do the distance but I’m not fast enough to meet the bleeps. I need to walk for 30 secs at 6.2 to get to 7.6 or just past and of course I can’t do that in the actual test. Im going to give it my all but I really don’t want to get deferred. The worst thing is I’m joining the medical corp which you only need 6.2 for but because I’m 17 I need to get 7.6. Unless I’m wrong but honestly I’m so confused. I hope your second test went well if you’ve done it

@@humanbean1340 everything is going fine I've been doing a bunch of stuff to work on my cardio and will have my test sometime after the 17th. My issue with the test was the increasing speed you needed to go. But when you're doing the actual test you'll be able to do much better. Mentally you will be at your max ability. At least that's how it was for me. If you really don't know how to improve try going gym with a PT. For me I'm training with a former infantry woman and she knows exactly what I need to do to get where I want. If money is an issue jus keep trying but vary what you train with, go on a run, ride a bike etc, then practice the bleep test every week or half week. Now I think I’ve realised it isn’t so much my cardio that’s faulting here. It’s my legs, more specifically my quads, they just start giving up near the end. Is this something to do with my breathing and not getting oxygen to my muscles enough? What kind of things can help increase my quads muscular endurance? Thanks alot

On my video it is a little faster, there is an official one you can get from the official beep test website but I wouldn’t bother paying for it. If it’s a bit quicker and you are hitting the mark that you need to be you will be absolutely fine on the day and really excel. A lad messaged the other day saying he practiced with mine and got 1 stage further on the actual test at the AC. Good luck on the 11th and let me know how you got on buddy.

Hi, firstly don’t worry about it just yet. Don’t run the test everyday but do it at a maximum of twice a week. Switch your training up too. Don’t run everyday but do some bodyweight circuits to strengthen your whole core which will also really help. Have a look at some of my videos do one or two of them a week mixed in with some running and you will be fine.
