Holy cow, thank you. I actually used Easter egg number 2. The one where you used the free knee to slide across and pass on the other side. I was rolling in class and I tried the normal knee cut several times, but could not get the leg\foot free. In hindsight, I didn't try to use my free leg to push against either of his legs to clear the trapped leg (which might have worked). But, I did notice there was a lot of space between he and I. So, I got up my courage and shot the free leg across his body and the trapped leg just popped out easy. I felt like a boss. Thank you.

The tripod half guard pass where the head is on opposite side of underhook doesn't typically work nogi? I get the collar grip is mich better leverage. But can't you easily grip the top of the shoulder to make a nogi variation work?

Hey Stephan, I'm curious how traditional BJJ differs from Eric Paulson's CSW. I'd be interested in seeing a video comparing and contrasting their approach to grappling. Thanks for all the great content!

Kyle849 CSW has been strongly influenced by BJJ - Erik Paulson is a BB under Rigan Machado after all. We should get Erik to do that video!

I used this technique with (enough) success for years but nowadays when I try it I get swept over my opponent when trying to free my foot. Perhaps my weight is to much on my opponent ? Can you help me with what I'm doing wrong thx.

Nice. Can you do more on the half guard pass when your opponent has a strong knee shield?

5:56 Isn't this very dangerous? Trapping your right arm AND having your weight so far to the right? The last technique: This works! I hope a lot will actually try this and drill it.

Great passes, all legit. Do be cautious of holding a tight far side underhook while on top and putting your weight up high if your opponent has the Lockdown. You can make yourself vulnerable to the Whip Down, which will likely result in either a sweep (low percent) or you losing the underhook (high percent). kzread.info/dash/bejne/naCH0NOTY9fPj8Y.html

Jeff White yes, this isn't a lockdown pass. I have one or two other videos on my channel dealing with that situation IIRC
