How to paint: Weapon Effects for tanks, and heavy troops Warhammer 40K

Hey guys, in this week's video, we are showing different weapon effects that I add to my different units to give them the extra spark and pop. These effects are extremely quick to lay down and well worth the effort. I recommend checking these effects out and putting them into practice on your models! This is also a prime example why you want to add a airbrush to your arsenal. I purchased my airbrush compressor combo for about $120 about 3 years ago and it has served me well.

O Hi!, I have to say I like the hand paint style for the glowing effects on the plasma cannon, just seems like there are more retouch work with the air vs hand but I did like the over heating style one that gatling guns. 👍work all in all keep the videos coming
I like working with Nein Paints for Plasnna effect
Looks great. I will say the heat blueing should be applied closer to the base of the barrels, as that is where the heat is. Exception of flamers, the heat is at the end on those

I stopped 40k after the recent decisions of GW. Now I bought an Action figure as a farewell and just wanted to paint a Marine that has been on the Battlefield for a long time and doesn't look like he would have just jumped out of the Drop Pod. .... In retrospect, I'm a little sad not having done it early because it looks so damn good. Thank you for your (child's play) Instructions.

That looks really great! It also looks very intense and i was wondering if there is a way to tone down the amount of light pooling over onto the metal bits?

Great job on everything else but the heat coils of plasma weapons should be darker on the outward detail and brighter in the recesses because that’s how physics work. Cooler things on heatsinks tend to not be brighter that the hotter things. Almost everyone gets this wrong.
