Huh, just kind of stumbled into this one and I have to say what I love most is your approach to painting- "just see what happens" when you start painting. That's so opposite of me- I spend so much time researching (like checking out youtube videos) and gridding/sketching the canvas, underpainting, etc. Your way of doing it is such a breath of fresh air. Not to mention the quality of your finished product. Well done- I'm subscribing.

You make it look so easy. What is the technique or trick on picking so little paint on the brush and your colors on the canvas don't dry, I see you can even get a mop brush to blend. I have tried it and I just don't know where I am going wrong. Please if you have time to reply and thank you for showing and teaching art

Hi Susan, you can definitely make light blue violet. If you already have Violet by mixing a little bit of cobalt blue or ultramarine blue and a bit of white, titanium white preferably. Thanks and have fun 😊

Joni, the light olive green, what brand is it and is it heavy body? I have light olive green, not in front of me, do not remember what brand it is but it is radically different than yours. Thanx for letting me know!

@@joniyoungart mine is Winsor & Newton Pale Olive series 1. I don’t think it is heavy body, it’s 3:30 am , I just woke up to go to work… lol. Will stop by Michaels today!! Also, do you happen to know anything about chrome yellow? Where can I get it and what colors would make it? I can’t seem to find chrome yellow anywhere. Can’t wait to paint!!
