I have watched hundreds of watercolour videos on KZread and I can definitively say that your demos are the very best in the classical time honored tradition of watercolour. Please continue with the excellent work.

Andrew, your artwork is excellent as are your very very helpful instructions. I too live not far from Leiston Abbey and have taken many photographs of it which I haven’t painted yet but your helpful description has urged me on! Orford and Iken Marshes are also favourites of mine so I look forward to following more of your local works. Brenda Fradd

Can you send a Size of picture please and do you have video of how you made your board w perspex front cover
@AndrewPittArtist
Жыл бұрын
The actual picture size is about half-imperial, about 14’’ x 22’’. There is a video which covers all my painting equipment and materials on my website. Just scroll through the video page on www.andrewpitt.co.uk Perspex, clear acrylic, can be tricky to cut by hand but nowadays there are many businesses which will cut it for you with a laser cutter which gives a cleaner cut. Hope this helps. I’m not really a handyman. Thanks for your interest.
I wondered what angle your painting is set at while you are working.

To ensure freshness I aim to paint each area once. This, within reason, frees me up to paint in any order I like. There are more videos on my KZread channel which offer more explanation. Don’t paint every picture the same way. Different paintings require different solutions. www.andrewpitt.co.uk

@@AndrewPittArtist thanks for your reply. I think some painters are a little formulaic.
Andrew, do you ever use a round pallette? How would you set that up?
@AndrewPittArtist

No, never. If I did I would set my colours up round the circumference in the same order as my usual palette.
