Oh I was waiting for this video on the cherry blossom and the details of the blooms. Like, I didn't know they had red stems or red sheaves at bottom of the blossom. I painted the lose cherry blossom (which are very pretty by the way) that you had in the card video before this one and I was wondering what else I could add to them but well now I know! Ya!!!! Thank you. Believe me I tried looking on the internet for pictures of a close up of the blooms but no luck. So thank you so much!!! 😷🧤😊😎🌴FL.

I'm SO glad I am not the only person who drops their paint brush over their newly finished painting!!! LOL In fact, I usually ruin my newly finished paintings in some way or other, totally clumsy moves like dropping brushes WITH PAINT ON THEM right in the center of my painting. Can't tell you how many times I've done that. :\ When I am done, I RUN AWAY....

I have the same issue with Bee watercolour paper (I’m in Scotland). I love using the ready cut 6x9”, 100% cotton, cold pressed sheets for practice as the paper is very good value for the quality, and it saves my Arches and Saunders Waterford for best. I’m getting to the end of my supply of Bee and I can’t find it for sale anywhere! If anyone knows where I can still buy this paper, I’d be grateful for a heads-up. Thank you for your videos, Emma. Your presentation style is so informal and friendly, but I learn so much from watching your tutorials. :)

The Bee paper shortage in the UK will be due to Covid-19. I’ve noticed a significant amount of imported art supplies are increasing in price due to low stocks/lack of availability due to covid-19 delays/restrictions surrounding imports. PS: A nicely priced 100% cotton paper is Hahnemuhle expressions. You can get a watercolour block of 20 sheets at 9 x 12 inch for around £12. It’s worth the money.

chaserkitty Probably still related to covid, perhaps due to an ingredient used, because in February, the paper was easily sourced. The Hahnemuhle expressions is better quality though.

So glad you addressed the BEE PAPER issue... I thought I was the only one that couldn't find it and l too have tried to get ahold of them via IG and not a peep. I purchased 2 of the 50pk 90lb 100% cotton wc paper and I regret not buying more. I only have one pack left and I wish I would have went back for the 140lb when they were still on Amazon. I wasn't too sure about the quality and even at 90lb it works so nicely! If I hear anything I'll let you know Emma! Hugs from Massachusetts! Laura...

Lettering By Laura The pandemic has made it so hard to get supplies. Especially art or sewing supplies. Everyone wants to have a creative outlet. Hopefully this will all change for the good 😊. We are all in this together! If we run out of paper maybe we can all paint on our walls 🙂

@@brightsmiles1962 Yes! Tell me about it! I'm shocked on the prices too! I would usually pay less then $30 for some watercolors buy paid $49 today... I'm going to try some of Arteza's 100% cotton wc and see how that goes. They are the only ones that don't seem to be price gouging...

Lettering By Laura I spend more time looking for supplies sometimes than actually being in my craft room. I actually enjoyed to local stores for finds, but lately I just leave them frustrated by their offerings. Ohio

The paper mill that made the bee paper closed its doors putting bee paper out of business. I’m so sad about it. It was the best paper for practice and all not real serious painting. I don’t know what I’ll use now. Luckily I was able to get 3 sketchbooks before they were all gone. The cherry blossoms are so beautiful! I found myself wanting you to add more and more flowers and make it all fat. Happy Mother’s Day to you! Tell daddy he and baby get to spoil you! 😁
