Absolutely love how affordable Victrix is! 60 bucks(At least what I see em for in the US) for 60 minis is crazy when you're used to paying GW prices lol

I'd definitely recommend it, I've found some historical kits to be a bit soft in their details but I've always found Victrix to be really nice and crisp.

As a SAGA player, historical mini tutorials make me smile.

Allways nice too see a model that is not a Space Marine

That transfer tip is excellent, I've been stressing on how to do larger transfers like that.

As they should be iconic, the Normans built and defined an empire! This looks really good, Pete, well done!

Every time I see a Norman soldier with that kite shield and signature helm, I think of the intro to that old TV show Gargoyles. "One thousand years ago, superstition and the sword ruled. It was a time of darkness; it was a world of fear. It was the age... of Gargoyles."

Super cool, love seeing historical miniatures. If you ever track down some modern (1980s+) wargaming minis I'd love to see them as well.

It turned out great, besides the older Napoleonic infantry and some of the older ancients, the new Victrix figures are all a joy to paint, sharper details and realistic body proportions.

These are great minis and great to paint! Another amazing painting tutorial again!!!

First of all, the mini looks stunning and the tutorial was clear and easy to follow and I might have to try some of the techniques you showed in the video. On a different note, I just rewatched your Raptors kill team videos and I was wondering if we’re gonna see the rest of it. If I remember correctly, we saw nine members of the kill team and haven’t seen a veteran and another special character so I was wondering if you would make a video about them because I would absolutely love to see them. Thanks for the video!

Sadly the new KT massively limited the customisation of Kill Teams. I hope that we will see some SM teams similar to the new tau, sisters, krieg and Ork kits we've seen recently.

..a really good video there on a great miniature , ...there seems to be so many ways to depict chain mail on our miniatures and end up with stunning results , ..you look at countless tutorials and every one has a different method to portray this vital piece of dark age kit , ...I've been happy with a few different finishes to my mail armour , it's just being consistent with it whilst painting up that genre of figures. ....

id love see you paint a Uruk Hai Soldier from games workshop Lord of the rings range always found it hard with getting right skin colour tone and darken look on the armour also Azog the defiller would ve great miniature to see get painted

Great content! Im completely new to the Hobby and i ve just bougth my Footsore Vikings collection. Im not sure what colors should i get to paint the entire collection. Do you have recommendations or recommended sources for absolute beginners?

What do you use to varnish your minis?

I've been looking to get some Vitrix kits to do some head swaps to create a Saxon esque space marine force (Sutton hoo vibes), don't suppose anyone has any idea if the heads are an appropriate size for primaris?

What do you think is the best for plastic soldiers? Vitrix, Perrys or Warlord games?

Would it not be easier to prime the shield front white rather than prime black and paint white on? Not taking away from the awesome finished product, just wondering why you took that route

The Victrix models are absolutely great. I recently bought their newer Late Romans kit and its one of the best. Its annoying tho that the shield transfers are so extemely pricey...5 Bucks for a piece of paper with glue is not really a bargain.

Personally I'd like to see Bolt Action's Hitler Youth get a video, no one has one of those.

You ever think about doing some tau related kit bashes?

There a good few options, Warlord have their Hail Caesar range which dips into the dark ages. Osprey also do Dux Bellorum.

I have a video idea: a kill team conversion. Primaris marines run as traitor space marines with cultists, but make them look like they defected and became space pirates instead of falling to chaos.
