Honestly as a homebrew chapter goes the idea of a group of space marines working with the Votann to get and maintain their equipment could be neat.

This is the first time I've seen a space marine and thought "damn that's sick". Pete never ceases to amaze me.

Yeah, he was one of my main inspirations when I started my custom Primordial Sons chapter, and I always shave off the imperialis now. It just looks so clean without it.

Wow I made a legion called the Cyclopian Guard for an AU of mine back when I was 15, it’s amazing how similar human naming themes can be.

It's worth mentioning that Space Marines and Sisters of Battle are the biggest users of power armor, it's still available to anyone who can afford the prices of the Adeptus Mechanicus. This looks like an up-armored void suit that might be used by a Rogue Trader's entourage of power armored mercenaries/followers.

Good thing you didn't make it blue. Would have been a StarCraft Marine. Using a ball bearing is an interesting and quick way to mass produce concept. A lot of your kitbashes use rare essential components of other kits that aren't easily mass produced for an army, so this is a refreshing change.

I see a lot of good techniques that could be used to improve the Void Scions

Dang, I wanted to make a custom chapter called the Martian Ghouls, this exact color scheme. Except the lore is their chapter planet is ‘Proxima Mars’ which was named by the previous ruling body during dark age of technology. The planets were named after connection to the Sol system was thought lodt, and later renamed Proxima due to rediscovery during great crusade

This is so unique and beautiful. It kind of looks like what I would imagine a Votann Astartes would look like.

I can honestly say that custom chapter's power armor is arguably the most posable design for an IRL power armor.

That rollbar looks like a super specific peice, using some wire and probably making a banding jig from some plasticard would probably be the better way to go about it

You know that feeling when someone you created was unique and one-of-a-kind? That’s kinda how I feel.

The bubble visor makes it very reminiscent of Star Craft. Finally, we have come full circle.

Eerily similar to a custom chapter I've been toying with - specialised in void warfare, gravis armour heavy, white and gold colour scheme, called the Celestian Guard... That bubble helmet is giving me ideas though.

i was questioning the painting of the ball bearing, but some of that silver mirror finish came thru the paint in a more subtle way. very nice look with the amber lens effect it has now

This one is bonkers good!!! Not entirely sure it really "fits" in with 40k SP asthetic but i dont care it can if you allow it to. These marines are just different and they look badass!! The dome helmet is the best part. Id paint the bolter casings black with the orange stripe personally to further break up the white.

I've been toying with the idea of heavier equipped captains/lords so this was quite informative!

I wonder what size bearing would be needed for each marine variant? Love the idea of a homebrew chapter done with a few more gold accents that I could use as an Imperial Fists or Salamanders chapter depending on my mood. "Moons haunted," energy.
