How do you know what colours to put on before you begin the scraping process?

The colours are up to you if your doing rocks as long as you put a lighter colour first . Thanks for watching.

Love your work! If you get a chance, I would really like to see how you have made such grand trees. I like the shadows where the branches exit from the trunk.
