    Still the best tutorial for realistic and grimdark looking faces. By far. There are great face tutorials out there. The results are detailed with lots of character but none of them come close to the look you achieved. Cudos!

    im painting a 10 man assault marine squad with no helmets, and this will make them look so much better than the... Raiders of the lost ark look they are currently rocking

    WOW. By mid point I was like why is he using that much red and by the end I was like dear lord teach me more. Normally my heads don't get much care and are more a fleshsahde wash! Now I think its time to pay more attention to my troops faces!

    The best I've ever seen. Really impressed. Though probably wouldn't win a Goden Demon as they tend to prefer garrish over-the-top styles similar to their eavy metal team might paint. I'd rather have this gritty style any day.

    Excellent. Many people forget that skin have a ton of different nuances and it's not just a blend of beige and brown (of whatever skin color you're working on). Different take. Much more lively and much more realistic than what you usually see IMHO. Great job!

    While painting it looks like a grey/black mess with some skin tone on the fore head and then you're done and suddenly BOOM, super realistic face. very well done !

    usually faces are done with way too much light and shade and they look a bit cartoony, these are really subtle and look amazing, much more realistic. Brilliant!!

    I agree with you about the one you did off camera being a little better. I don't know what legion the other was, but the Imperial Fist looks more life like than the other. I usually put the helmets on all my models, but that's just me. I subscribed as well.

    Awesome video, with an astounding result. I'm testing out your technique on my Primaris space wolves - first helmetless minis I've painted in a long time.
