I wish i could understand this way of painting
I've fallen in love with your abstract flowers. Just love your vibrant colour choices. Ive spent the weekend making four little paintings. Oh my goodness. It is too easy to paint flower shapes and start puting in the highlights and the curves of the petals. My first two paintings so over worked. My third and fourth are not so bad. but i still haven't mastered the art of NOT SEEING where a petal should go. :)

Why do you wipe the brush off before picking up more ofvthe same colour of paint? Great videos, love your style. Are you using soft body acrylic paint?

I do that if there is too much paint on my brush and I am currently still using the Golden fluid acrylic paint.
You are using 6x 6 canvas how wide are they? Where do you buy?

I usually buy them from Michaels or Blick Art Materials. The ones from Michaels have a 1-1/2 inch profile and from Blick they have a 1-3/8 inch profile. The ones from Blick are much nicer (in my opinion). www.dickblick.com/products/blick-studio-cotton-canvas/
Is that leaf color at the beginning Payne’s gray?

No, you should hold it however it feels comfortable for you.
Are you mixing your colours on paper? That makes some sense you you can just throw it out when finished.

It's called palette paper. You can get it at most art supply stores. It has a waxy coating so the paint doesn't absorb into the paper.
