Kirsty Partridge Art i just started using colours.. I only used pencils to draw. I have no experience in using colours, I can draw but can’t paint.. my painting skills are like a child using colours 0_0.. I’m trying to use watercolour as to begin with colouring.. but it’s going really bad.. don’t know where I am going wrong.. maybe it’s the paper I use or maybe the cheap paint.. either way I don’t know how to use watercolour brushes.. Basically I don’t know anything I do 😢 any recommendation or simple step by step tutorials that will help me to get started? Like maybe a simple sunflower or a fruit so I can follow step by step.. I really like your tutorials..

Many people believe the worst thing that can happen is a bad hair day... This is true in portrait art as well... take time for the hair of your subject, it's the crown they will never take of... Always nice to see other artist at work. Great video Kirsty.

Imo that very first highlight wash is the best time to get in hue and temperature variation. That and knowing if your pigments are transparent, granulating, staining, etc.--transparent pigments will glaze with the previous layers to create more strands at the same time. It depends on the look you're going for and what you want to use. My opinions aren't law lol. One piece I did with some opaque pigments in the hair and it made the hair look super unwashed and greasy! At first I hated it but now that the person it was a piece of doesn't get along with me anymore, the greasy look is very fitting lol! Unless you want the subject to look wet or drenched in grime, I'd recommend being careful with opaque pigments lol.
Toll. GLG Benedikta 🌞😃👍
فنانه ما شاء الله
Maravilhoso👏
I love how she drops her g's. Paintin's.
I read through some comments and they are requesting videos you have covered already, I could watch you repaint just about anything! I know you save most of Your expanded detail work for Patreon but maybe show an abbreviated detail section of a painting from a work you have already completed, this way it is an editing job not a new painting! I think anyone in need can find something to help them from your generous offerings here on your channel! Thank you for sharing and being so generous with your time and talent!

@Daily Drawing haha that is my biggest problem and when it search a video of it in KZread nothing pops out and i really suggesting it to kirsty

What do you mean? Like how does she prepare her sketch, how does she find a good reference photo, or how she plans/mixes her colors before painting?
@jonhon4104
4 жыл бұрын
@@gnathp4497 i mean how to plan what technique you will be going to use, how kirsty think what color will be nice, what section you should paint first, etc. I just get curious how kirsty plan his paintings because it is very expressive and she always talk about plan before you paint and it doesn't make sense because she never make a video about how to plan just an suggestion.
@gnathp4497
4 жыл бұрын
@@jonhon4104 Oh I see; maybe this video can help you out a bit: kzread.info/dash/bejne/l3mMyLOEkcW3d6w.html Kirsty talks about why and how she chooses to use the techniques that she does in this video, and in another part of the video she also talks about how she chooses what colors to use in her paintings. From my experience, in watercolor you usually paint the lightest sections first and then paint darker and darker, because highlights are very hard to preserve with watercolor paint unless you are using something like masking fluid or gouache paint. Hope this helps!

He showed the method of water color in a very beautiful way. The art is so beautiful because you are there. Well, I do not use a brush to paint Aki water with the fingers of the hand, there is no problem ??
