Thanks going to try this
I learned something and I don't even paint figures well done wonderful teacher
Thank you. 😊
Yes great video, now I can start adding to my learning process.... eyes are not my favorite area. But I understand I gotta put the work in.
I'm just about to paint the portraits for my Fantastic 4 diorama and I'll absolutely be feeding off of this video for them. Thanks again!
Said it before and I'll say it again: your command of the brush and colours is incredible! Will defo give your new way of painting eyeballs a go! Got Wicked's Black Widow on my table now so will sacrifice her to test it 😆
Wonderful video! Very informative.
I really enjoy your videos man from start to finish ! Especially the finish ! Ha ha ha ! Very usefull painting advice overall. Thanks !

The finish is my favorite part haha. Thanks for watching!!!
I hate doing eyes.. but.. I may like it a bit more now. Great tips. Those looked awesome.
Great tutorial Mr Groundeffected. Painting eyes has become one of my favourite parts of the hobby. On large scale figures I like to pencil in the iris and look at the placement from a distance, so I don't make them cross-eyed.
Wow! Great tips!
Awesome, thanks for tips. That's a very good tutorial.
Needed this one Thanks !
Thanks for the instruciton! I haven't had the chance to try this yet, but I'm super excited. I'm not confident about the shaping the eye section where it looks like you paint a close to perfect circle with the dark color over the white of the eye. I've never painted or drawn a perfect circle before, so that sounds like it'll be probably immpossible for me, lol. Nonetheless, I will practice this. Thanks again!
Another great video!
Very cool. Thanks so much. I love it and thanks for sharing.
Brent this was awesome thank you
Awesome video! I've been trying to up my eye skills lately!

Lol. Here is some more eyes for you.
This one came just in time. I’m about to tackle some eyes on a portrait that I was really nervous about. So thanks for this one and all you do. Now please make another about dark skin tones but this time do really dark tones. Like Wesley Snipes specifically. I’m working and a Blade bust and can not for the life of me get his skin right.
Gran approved.
Another great video. It's refreshing to see someone evolve there style, we all learn and as I've watched most of your vids, I've seen how you're making tweaks to skin techniques and eyes etc. To me that's a sign of a great painter. Adding the dots of white to the pupil has been my biggest struggle, it's either to big or just washes out all the hard work I've done shading them. So I came up with just using a cocktail stick to get that precise dot. I've even snipped back the point of the stick to get a nice round pupil. Learning by my mistakes is great, the point I made a mistake is super annoying and wish I'd thought of the cocktail stick trick about 20 minutes before I'd thought of the cocktail stick trick so I didn't have to start again. How cool would it be if we could CTRL-Z real life? Lol.
Just what I needed. *runs off to paint some eyes *

these videos delight my grand more than you know
Painting such a large figure has got to be intimidating. I'm so used to painting Warhammer that I don't even think about eyes. the pink and black you did makes so much sense after looking at the finished product. Awesome video!

Haha it’s not that hard. And it’s really fun but. It uses a lot more paint

cool vid
Yes this man can Paint .custos 👍👍👍👍😬
One of my biggest struggles is eyes, I have slightly shaky hands and not a single fine brush I find keeps their shape or are thin enough to get the details. I'm lucky if I can make a passable eye on a 1/4 kit lol E2046's decals are sadly kinda low quality and very fragile, so I've been thinking of just learning to paint eyes in their place. Currently working on a Krystal 3d Print, and this guide, and my plan to pencil out a guideline based on her ingame eyes should really help :D
This is exactly how I do my eyes!! :D great guide! Hope it helps people because I see so many models where the overall paint job is pretty cool but the eyes are horrible. For me that ruins the entire look of the model. Cool job dude, as always!
Dad I can't share with gran. She is very dead. The video was still very helpful and if she weren't dead I am sure she would like it
I use water decals, print them on decal paper, cut them out and then put them on. I like this method, but that's me being lazy. Ill have to use the awesome tutorial and try my hand at painting.

He's right. It is the best part of the video. That and making fun of the Warhammersers.
@groundeffected How would you paint eyes that are red. Like General Thrawn from Star Wars?
Can't share with gran, she's no longer here... However, love the eyes. Will you show us how to do this on them Space marines? :)

HELP!!! How do I paint a candy cane on a model? Not the big stripe; the three super tiny, beyond human capability, stripes that demand perfection and will most likely get my model launched through the window any day now. p.s. Dude! Your channel rocks.

Ooof that’s gonna be a bastard. I would maybe use floss and wrap it over in the place and try to tape or glue it on the ens maybe? Or maybe try dipping it in liquid mask the wrapping it and waiting for it to dry?

Good luck hope it goes well for feminine eyes you can do black both sides then cut a bit of the pink towards the inside of the lower lid up to about half way across the eye. To make it look like eyeliner
