    I know you don't really change your process too much, but I swear, everytime I watch one of your videos something new (other than the focus) pops out and I think to myself, I need to try that, or thats how that works! You do such a great job explaining, but since I am progressing, I assume I take away something different based on what I have been struggling to accomplish in my painting. Thank again!

    This was soooooo much fun watching you have fun!!! I can tell how relaxed you were!! There was fantastic instruction!! I think this was a simple grimdark that any beginner to intermediate painter can use. I like that you didn’t use oils on this for that reason. Many are intimidated or just don’t have them. Great job my friend and thanks!! (Horns always suck!)😂

    Aww Vincey, I loved this after wanting to see more Underworlds in the reveal stream. I get similar satisfaction out of a victory lap with Corvus Black for my rims.

    Man, the orange really pops against that ivory and brown. Also: another joins the gang of basically only using Rhinox Hide from Citadel. There are dozens of us!

    This would be a fantastic technique for tyranids and other critters in a similar vein. The robes look very naturally mottled and weathered. Very nice video sir!

    Oh boy, oh boy. I'm looking forward to that rat pack arriving. I should really learn to play underworlds, since all the new skaven is coming out for that that game. Great tutorial- I'm thinking lime green and or livid pink for my plague monks and going with ivory for the Eshin rats. Thanks Vince for the inspiration!

    Being a fellow Skaven afficionado, I was so excited to see some new Skaven models come out - I preordered two boxes through my LGS so I can make a Pestilens-themed Warcry warband with these. Great paint job in the video! I'll have to try out your skin formula as I haven't quite found one I love for my rats yet. I have the Pro Acryl Red Beige and Vallejo Cork, so I'll just have to find a substitute for the Pro Acryl Dark Ivory as nobody locally carries it (yet).

    It's nice to see a grimy look without the use of enamels or oils. I love those products but sometimes my patience just isn't there. Great video. Also, it was great to meet you at gencon. Congratulations on your placements!

What line of paint would you recommend in 2023 for someone that has some old GW paints, some new GW contrast paints, and a decent amount of Vallejo paints?     Howdy! First up thank you for what you do, as a newbie painter with no art background your channel taught me.. Well, everything I needed to start and to keep going. I was going through previous hobby cheatings to do with white and this one too, but I would love some help with white NMM armor. When I attempt it always ends up either looking grey with white highlights, or washed out if I increase total amount of white. Maybe theres an older vid in the series about it Ive missed?

    As much as possible! Seriously though, they make great replacements for your normal highlight colors, that is the simple answer, don't go to white, go to pastel.

    Has Vince ever used Dirty Down rust in one of these? as a certified Skaven Enjoyer it seems up his alley but i've heard in the states its a murder to find and its often super expensive but works so well for nurgle style weapons.

    I have seen a lot of people get into ak paints lately. will I be fine with my scalecolour / pro acryl armada with the occasional gw layers and contrasts, or are ak must-haves? oh and is that Raphael brushes i spot

    No issue with those paints at all, it's more about personal taste and the way you work with your paints. :) - Yes, my normal brushes are either Raph 8404 or Winsor and Newton Series 7.

    @@VinceVenturella Ah, excellent brushes. Yeah, I love these paints although scale can be tricky to work with because of the gel medium. But the matte finish is just amazing, when you paint stuff like leather! I was just wondering about ak, since a lot of tubers have gone that route lately.

    Sure, pick one element and keep it the same throughout (a piece of equipment, cloaks, a helm, w/e) and then you can vary the rest but they will still feel as though they belong together.
