I don't know what you do for a day job BUT, you could teach the art of posting video content. It's nice to see someone that takes their time to not only show the process (clearly), explain how its done, show the actual products used do it at a pace that we can follow along. Great project... nd the bumper came out awesome as well (; THANKS!!!

Did this to my truck because it had a small dent in it. Didn’t want to replace it but cutting it out and putting in pod lights wired to the reverse ended up being a great idea. Don’t know how I did without them before!!! Been seeing this a lot lately… words gotten out. Aux reverse lights inserted into rear bumper. Very useful. Great job!!!!! Looks amazing!

Now you need to do the same treatment to the mirrors. Also one of the grilles that says RAM would look pretty sweet all painted to match.

End result looked good. Just two things you should consider next time you paint. All ways wash the part before sanding. If you don't you end up pushing contaminants into the item. Also please use a respirator. There is some wicked chemicals in paint. Well done video and it looked good.

I think I would have added one led pod light to each corner of the bumper as well since it would not require any more real work and it would light up the rear sides of the truck when backing up as well. Anyway. it looks great!!!

The process is good.. I would sand the etching primer and add 2 coats before the regular lacquer primer, sanding between coats to remove scratches.. Also, invest in an inexpensive spray gun and buy good quality automotive finishing products. The crap in rattle cans does not compare. The results you got will last longer with quality products. For those of you who watch and wonder about matching color; Silver is hard to do because it has suspended metallic particles in the liquid binders. Also, there are about a million different silver shades. the size of the metallic particles will directly reflect how the light shows the color. Automotive paint, through a spray gun, can be mixed more accurately that what you will get from a spray can. Overall, the job was well done.. Please don`t forget the respiration protection... there is isocyanates in the paint that will cause health issues eventually.. Ventilation is a good idea as well.. The atmosphere can quickly become combustible... Thanks for the video.. It`s good to see people showing others what can be accomplished if you just wanna do it.

I'm wondering if you could set a separate wiring connection to be able to turn at least 1 set of those lights on with a switch without putting the truck in reverse. In other words, having both sets of lights to turn on when u set truck in reverse, & have at least 1 of the 2 sets to also be able to turn on by pressing a switch from the inside.
