+Brock Campbell TIP: for the people who wanna know, if you done this with those markers it doesn't last verry long. So solution is: get some ultrastrong hairspray (non stick) en spay your board/deck in and that would last longer!! ;D

Awesome. I'm big into painting and I customized my deck a few months back and did this whole thing with rays of light outlined with gold behind an anatomical heart over a bed of poppies. I totally want to continue the motif onto the grip tape. I'll probably do something with blood dripping or an outline of more poppies. I'm pumped.

Oh also, pro artist/seamstress tip. Draw your design on normal printer paper (or just print it out). Color the back with chalk. Make sure you got a good layer on there. Boom. DIY transfer paper. Place the design where you want it, tape it in place, and trace over it with a ball point pen.

this video helped me a lot, I used sharpie oil-based paint markers and it didn't degrade the griptape and it stays on really well

Happy early birthday! My bday is on the 15th. I already got my present though. I have a skateboard I got from a local skate shop. So I knew Andy inspired me and made me want to make videos, and I really like his skateboards, but I told my parents I wanted a go pro instead. This way I can make videos and make others happy like Andy makes me happy! So now I have a go pro hero 4 session. (Oh btw the skateboard wasn't part of it. I had already had it.)

+Keaton Gillespie racking markers is simple for me, theres a mcdonalds right next to the the store that sells them, so with my leftover cup from a mcdonalds meal i rack the markers throught the straw hole, hard to notice too, people just think its ice, and i buy a chocolate bar or some thing to not seem to dodgy, and dress proper too to avoid suspicion :)
