Hey Sam I just saw your facebook page. Woooow!!!😃😃😃 My thumb just started paining due to clicking the like button. 😅😅 I noticed that you also paint on Stretcher canvas. But your tutorials are always demonstrated on linen panels.😐😐😐 I would really like to see a big painting tutorial. 😃😃😃

Thanks Akshay. Yes I will be doing some big paintings as well. Part of the reason I am doing smaller paintings at the moment is because they take much less time to paint which means I can upload KZread videos more frequently 😊

I do like autumn colours. I was making autumn themed videos at the moment as it is autumn in the northern hemisphere 😊

Thanks Philip, part of the reason I paint on small panels is so I can get more paintings done for KZread, but if you are learning to paint I think painting on small or medium panels or canvases is much less intimidating and also takes up less room in your studio 😊

I love landscapes but having a difficult way of painting it, until i am now watching all of your videos, such a great process and tecniques u are sharing us.... Btw, incase i don't have the cobalt teal color what can i use to replace it? I am a self taught artist and haven't been into landscapes i like your style and colours, too!

Thank you so much. You can make a colour similar to cobalt teal by mixing ultramarine blue, phthalo green and titanium white 😊

Hey, sorry for my late reply. The answer is no its not. Toning your canvas with burnt sienna can add a warmth to you painting and can produce a nice effect but it's not essential. Painting on a white canvas will help you to produce cleaner colours and you can use the white of the canvas to gauge the tonality of the painting. Try both and see which one you prefer 😊
