Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Eastwood shows how to paint layered graphics using Eastwood paints, flakes, clears and candeez with the Concours Pro Paint Gun and Concours Pro Detail Gun. Mike took an old motorcycle helmet, stripped it down and went crazy with the graphics and layers. This is one video you need to watch if you're interested in painting!

    Good way for a young person to learn the use of a spray gun when there are no cars to paint. I remember hearing of a young fellow who started his pin striping business by perfecting his craft on toilet seats and selling them.

    if your airbrush has a tip with a hole in it big enough to let the flakes pass. Also, one piece of advice to the paint tech dude. Fiberglass and chemical sanding dust will kill you just as fast as paint fumes will; put on a damn mask before you leave your children fatherless.

    I still have an old half helmet. The outside still looks amazing. Its the inside that needs fixed. The padding and liner are very old. The center pad is missing. Was my very first helmet. I didn't destroy the inside, its was that way when i first started riding. Its a red white and blue American flag helmet from the 1960s or 1970s. This is a video i made of my gear. @6:00 Holy orange peel Captain Citrus!!! I feel so much better about my first few paint jobs using Titan Vaper HVLP guns. Hopefully this is not indicative of the performance of the products used in the video. The design itself, if not the execution, looks good however. I can not give this video a rec as it blows thru way to much information with no important details on actual technique. It is title a How-To. For those that say that the peel will be buried in the clear, you still can and will see it. Look about 1/3 of the way from the 8 O'clock of E in Eastwood @7:33 in the video, where the reflection goes from very light to dark, and you can see it.

    GJH Yes I did watch the whole video, actually several times in parts, and no it wasn't completely free of orange peel. I pointed out in the the video of the finished product where there was a noticeable amount and you can't wet sand metallics. Clear can only camouflage so much when shooting metallic candies. As for the huffing comment, feel free to huff some of the paint that I've sprayed, you'd be dead in short order. This is a video by a company which is basically showcasing their products and the results that can be obtained by them. Thus, the video is not only lacking in key content, it makes you wonder about the quality of their products if this is the end result of using them by someone with experience.

  • @gjh400

    @gjh400

    8 жыл бұрын

    +Michael G What do you make your own paint and paint products? of course paint companies sell products. your wrong, the finished product was completely free of orange peel. My advice to you is to stop being so petty, they took the time to make a video to teach people - including you obviously, how to do something bitchin' the correct way. wet sanding the color and final clear always gets rid of the peel, if you paint you'd know that, obviously they're shooting an instructional video not looking for perfection --- yet certain dickhead know it alls demand perfection. whatever buddy.

    Obviously your don't know what you are taking about because if you did any actual painting you would know you can't color sand metallics.
