Thanks for another great lesson. Not sure which will be the greater challenge, to get my 20 something year old daughter to sit for me or the drawing so well done to your daughter for being so brave. Looking forward to having a go.

I am fond of drawing and painting portraits, and it is curious that landscapes are somewhat more complex to paint. I am looking forward to seeing the painting process in this portrait. Thanks for these tips.

Thank you for the video I've been wanting for a lesson in portraits for a while and found yours very interesting and watching you do your outline drawing of your daughter(thank her for sitting so patiently for the video) has reasured that the way l am approaching mine is the weight way after a lot of time practising so now l know that l am heading in the weight direction. You can use a water-soluble colour pencil for the outline. The subsequent layers of watercolour will just dissolve the lines away, which I find problematic after the first wash since all my sketch lines are gone 😂.
