This is inspiring, I am going to be painting my RV soon and I think this looks great. I notice though, you have a lot of water damage in the front, you should look into fixing that. I used West System Epoxy for some of the delamination I had, but I had to rebuild some of the framing in the front of my class C because the water had rotted out some of the wood. Water is probably leaking in from the roof, very common but a big job to fix.

Auto paint and a paint sprayer will give you that auto paint look like your car. Auto body paint is not that expensive and you can get it from Amazon or your local auto parts store. Good luck....

Both of you did a terrific job and the exterior color scheme is outstanding. You made the DIY process look less daunting than it probably was with all of the hard work the both of you put into the exterior painting. Awesome work! I'm going to be doing the same but think I'm going to take out the windows to do the entire frame (inside and outside) black then tint them. Mine have 0 tint 😆 One thing I think would make yours pop even more...the corner seams in black. Looks like all of the new trailers come with that. Makes it look even more modern. I'm going to add some of those massive ''swoosh' decals too..or paint them on.. Again great work you too! And..., now I know what paint you use too! I only wish I had a spray booth to use automotive paint. Enjoy!

I'm going to be doing the same thing soon. I am trying to gather all the information I need. I'm going over the road full time and I don't want paint to be flaking off. Did you talk to a paint rep or do any research as to what type of paint to use on top of this fiberglass lamination? And what kind of primer did you use?

It looks like you have some delamination going on in front on the right side. Great job though. I hope it holds up well for you. I'm stripping decals right now and it's obvious I'm going to have to paint mine as well.

You should have shown how the decals came out!

By far looks like the easiest way to paint it. Did you use exterior house paint? It looks like it's been a few years sent you of painted it. Have you had any problems with it flaking or peeling.

Are you talking about Behr exterior latex paint? If so, wouldn’t that just peel off the smooth fiberglass surface, especially while driving down highways or when tree branches scrape against it? It would be great to see a follow up video to see how it’s holding up.

Hey, just subscribed to your channel. It looks great. Wish I could have talked to you about Rustoluem, the other paint and using rolling brush before you used it. Long story short, it will most likely start peeling in the next year, depending on where you live. You may want to put a clear coat on it to make it last longer. In the future, Auto paint and a paint sprayer would have given you that auto paint look like your car. Auto body paint is not that expensive as people think. I will post our video of our paint job once I finish. Again, great job and safe travels. We finished our RV interior rehab a few months ago and posted it on our channel. We hope to join everyone on the road starting in Spring.

Oh yeah, try GraphXOff to remove your decals and stickers. I have a video of it on my channel. It's 1000000 times easier.

Looks great. How is the paint holding up? I'm just about to do all of my fiberglass repair and I've seen a few people use exterior house paint and it turned out amazing. Being the fact that automotive paint and house paint see the exact same weather makes me intrigued to see how each holds up. As far as the trolls go... their idiots 🤣 if it works for you and it lasts, thats a win 🏆
