Love the magenta and purple!!🤩 With that yellow. Actually, all the colors are bringing this little hidden oasis to life. The sunbeams with their unique colors is a great touch. Little sparkles. The moss on the trees. I expect to see water sprites or hidden fairies playing. It really is magical and remarkable. I'll have to put this one on my to-do list. Thank you, Joni. I live in a fairly dry climate and used to really struggle with blending too... until I realized I wasn’t using enough actual paint, and too much water (bc I was thinking water is the blending catalyst)… since that realization, along with having a good amount of paint on the palette ready to go, I use liquitex basics without watering it down much at all (if I need to release paint from the brush better I put a little bit of water on my brush before loading up with paint), and I really fight against my internal monologue for “don’t waste paint” that makes me use not enough paint… I put thicker layers of paint onto the canvas (bc thick dries slower than thin), and then a very light mist from the fine mist sprayer over all before using my dry mop brush to blend. I zhuzh my mop brush into a paper towel every 20-30 seconds to keep it dry and fluffy. It’s really hard to blend thin, watered down paint that dries too quickly, and that’s what my problem was. 😅
