How to Paint a Master of Possession, Black Legion

Ойын-сауық

In this video I'll be painting up the Master of Possession from the Warhammer 40,000 Shadowspear boxed set. It's a stunning miniature, and when I saw it I had to paint it first. Last week's fire and flames video was taken from this miniature, so I'll link that in the video so if you want to concentrate on the flames there'll be the video of just that.

Your Tutorial was one of the best I've seen. You made the model look amazing without a bunch of techniques beginners like myself just can't follow like feathering etc... I will be watching your stuff alot.

B&B, I really appreciate the step by step tutorial. I followed along and my MoP came out really nice. When I first picked the model, I wasn’t sure how I was going to get those flaming skulls done, you’re method is super easy and looks fantastic! Looking forward to painting Abaddon, Oblits and the new Dark Apostle.

Wow, really amazing looking model! I really liked the close ups on some of the detail work. It’s really helpful to see exactly where u are painting certain details. I’ve found some tutorials to be a bit difficult to tell exactly where I’m putting certain hilights because the camera is panned back to far, You get right in there, and it’s appreciated, well done!

Your videos have helped me so much to develop my painting skills. I took my own approach with the colours on this one I went for a grey glowing eyes and green flames with metallic purple armour trim. I think it looks pretty awesome.

It's amazing to see the different colours and styles people have used for the same models! Top stuff! :)

Yow that's the best paint job I've ever seen saw ur oblitorator paint tutorial yesterday and the venom crawler earlier and am in awe with how they all looked once Finnished I've just started to build my chaos space marines army and am really not looking forward to painting them, still getting used too what paints work better for gold trims and other things, I knew the trims were too bright I used retributor armour as the base for them so gonna try liberator gold and use that for the highlight, thanks for the help dude u have a talent

Really nice video. The liberator gold looked really good, I might adopt that for my own black legion instead of Retributor Armor. Also, I never even considered shading a red cloak with Druchii Violet. That effect looked really great!

Cheers HistoryinTheMaking02, very much appreciated! :) I've just had a look and I think the London Grey is used to highlight the horns on the staff (you could use Citadel Dawnstone for this too), and the Yriel Yellow looks like it was used on the eye of Horus on his right knee. :-)

He looks fantastic. I was painting my armour on my MoP dark blue but I think I'll convert to black to get that nice contrast between the armour trim and armour itself. The skull helmet and flames you painted stand out especially well; if mine looks half as good as yours when he's done I'll be chuffed!
