Just watched your "what I wish I knew before interrailing" video & then came here. I'm planning to go interrailing for 3 weeks in May and Ive been looking up backpacks etc and lots of videos around the matter. Coming from someone who tends to overpack, this is a very inspirational packing video. I'm blown away by the amount of stuff into those small bags, very impressive. 😁

We had so much stuff that we weren’t using and thought smaller bags were the way to go! So far so good!

We've really tried to cut a lot of stuff out of our bags as we want to minimise what we're carrying around!

Great video. I'm amazed that you can get everything you will need into those bags.

We hate it when the bags look so good and people big them up but then they’re so expensive!!

I will definitely check out those bags for my next trip. I normally use a suitcase when I travel and it's so big that I just end up stuffing more stuff in just to get it filled up :-) And like you said, a lot of things make it back home without even being used. It will be interesting to do the light travel experience.

Thanks for this. I will be travelling by low cost airlines a lot this year so I was looking at this bag. I'm not paying those extra fees for a week long trip. I am already a light traveller, I just wanted to see how durable these might be.

Very impressive guys! Love it all....aside from the micro fiber towels...you swear by them, we swear AT them 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Switched over to 100% cotton Turkish Towels a couple years back and have been soooooooo much happier with them (and Kate uses them for a blanket on the train as well 🤣). Love seeing you guys back out there! Keep in touch 🤙🤙💖💖😎😎

Used cabinmax with 2wheels but usually checked in as 45l ..weight wise was too stuffed. Downsizing to 28l Cabinmax backpack... never ever wannt to checkin again as bag got lost by airline then got put out twice by bus cos at wrong stops!!! However will also take daypack .. as hsve meds and warm clothes for longer term . What is weight ofbackpacks packed full please?

Super helpful video! I'm wondering how versatile the black/pink backpack is.. If the bag is underfilled, are you able to lay it on your lap whilst eating at a cafe, and squished it down so it fits between your lap and the table? my current backpack is too thick to keep on my lap and it's thickness makes it difficult for non-luggage use (esp annoying if I'm traveling for work & want to use the same backpack when attending meetings)

I can’t say for sure as we’ve never done this! But it does fit under the seat of an airplane if this helps?

Very well thought out, and those bags look great, so compact, perfect for your travels. If you're Interailing do you plan to visit the more expensive countries, like Scandinavia and the rest of Northern Europe where train travel usually costs so much more? Will you be staying in youth hostels, does the YHA still exist, or am I showing my age here? 😅

I almost forget to mention the travel pass available in Germany this summer, 9 € for a whole month's travel using regional transport across the whole country. A great deal.
