I can pack for 4 days in a suitcase and a small bag. I always try to bring my camera because you never know when a good chance to vlog will be. Especially around my cousins. They do some stupidly hilarious stuff.

Love this! I always struggle with overpacking and quickly getting unorganized while traveling (as a neat freak this is super stressful). So, these tips are great! Is there any way you can combine this travel series with your other type and go over your clothes selection more in depth (how you pair them, why you choose them, etc.). That's the biggest struggle I have with packing, I never know what clothes to bring to optimize outfit options!

@@AAtha_ all liquids should fit in a 1 quart plastic bag, just 100ml (and under) each. idk about all her liquids fitting in 1 quart bag but im sure thats all only 100 ml, so shes okay

Chata Pratt I have TSA Pre-check too and while you don’t remove your liquids from your bag, the 3-1-1 rule still applies (she also acknowledged that). Pre-check travelers may sometimes get away with extra liquids in their luggage, but it’s risky as TSA could notice and confiscate the additional valuable items!

Love this! You are so organized. Thanks for the dry shampoo rec, too -- been looking for one that won't irritate my scalp! FYI to the folks talking about liquid restrictions: some places *cough*Heathrow*cough* are notoriously strict, but many airports are not as stringent as you'd think. A friend who's a TSA agent said that they often don't crack down too much unless the product in question would leak/pour out if held upside down or makes a liquidy sound when shaken. (Hence why stuff like toothpaste and liquid lipstick typically squeak through). Also, in my experience folks who are TSA Pre ✓ often breeze through unless they're agregiously disobeying the rules. I'm Pre ✓ and fly about 50 times a year, and I've never been flagged for keeping my liquid foundation in my makeup bag. :) Hope that helps!

Once, at LAX Tom Bradley, TSA yelled at us to not take our shoes off and to put our liquids bag back into our bags. It was weird. LOL.

@@nikkisadie7208 Here you go: www.tsa.gov/precheck It's $85 for 5 years. You fill out the online application, then a couple weeks later you're contacted to show up for an interview. My interview was super easy: is this your name, where did you grow up, etc. It's essentially to verify your paperwork answers. You'll then receive (a week or two later) an email and letter in the mail containing your Know Traveller Number (KTN). You can add that to pending and future airline tickets and your boarding passes will reflect that you're TSA Pre✓. It saves you SO MUCH time at the airport if you're a frequent domestic traveller. Hope that helps!

I pack similarly, minus the camera equipment. The main difference is that I I try to choose cosmetics that come in cream form and I carry those in very small jars. The jars stack and save a lot of space, and because I apply the products with fingertips, I can carry fewer brushes, too! Also, I sew a little bit, so I made myself a zippered tote bag exactly the way I want it. It has a "trolley pocket" and a horizontal (Velcro-ed) strap that slide over the handles of my rolling suitcase and keep it firmly attached to my luggage, an exterior zipper pocket where I keep my phone and quick-grab essentials, a wide flat bottom, a removable (and cushioned) shoulder strap, and a lining with lots of interior pockets. I also sewed an organizer like the one you use and I slide it inside so I can further divide and easily see what I'm carrying. Once I get to wherever I'm staying, I pull it out and keep it on a countertop. I hardly ever unpack it! I enjoyed seeing what you packed and how you organized it. Thanks for sharing your tips!

I love packing videos. Just to let you know, if you ever travel to the UK you would be over the liquid threshold. You would have to throw away all those liquids in your tote bag as you already had liquids in your cabin case. The UK is very strict with how much you can travel with. It's crazy! Looks like it's much more flexible for you where you are.

Very organized packing wish i am that good, I can't travel wish i could but every summer though i get chance to go to my home state but not this Summer maybe next year so I am asking is worth buying the carry on from away? can i order through amazon? for as Christmas present to charge my phone? I go every year for one month and usually use my backpack bag our those big bags I go either to Dollar Store or Walmart give a cheaper prices to try it first on certain travel essentials to see also if i l like it :)

In the UK all the make up that’s liquid (pomade, mascara, concealer) would have to go in the single liquids bag! It’s a nightmare as takes up so much of the space!

oh my goodness I'm also going on a four day trip to NY in November! I'm waiting to see what the weather will be like but my number one item that I used the last time I went to NY was a thiiiiin thermal longsleeve shirt that I wore under EVERYTHING to keep me warm. highly recommend!
