heres what I do: 1. Throw away all the trash or papers 2. make a place for my pens, pencils, and other crafty stuff 3. Stack up any kinds of book you want to keep on your desk Hope you liked this!

I color code paperwork etc. eg: Jan is light blue for ice, Feb is pink for Valentine’s Day, March is emerald green for St. Patrick’s day, April is aqua for rain, May is lavender, for spring flowers, June is grass green, July is dark blue, for the 4th, August is gold for grass starting to turn, Sept is purple for fall Astor flowers, Oct is black for Halloween, Nov is orange for fall leaves & pumpkins and Dec is red for holly berries. I use those colors for my ink and folders (or a washi tape of the monthly color along the top edge of folders). I’ve done this for years at my job and it helps me find things at a glance. It’s also an excuse to try out new fountain pen inks😀.

"No parking zone" is a great idea! I want to do journaling but it's hard when you have clutter all over!!!

I've helped my sister rearrange her desk a few times. One of the biggest tips I have is to look at the space and organization available to you before doing anything else.

Jetpens, let's organize our desks Me who seems to live in perpetual clutter of cleaning one area only to end up with a disorganized other area... Not even Marie Konmari could get through this.

Too many pens? Ha! Never! 😁

For me, step one is getting a bigger desk 😂 I can only just barely fit my workplace monitor and workplace laptop on it. I want to be able to share that space with my personal laptop as well and hold my growing stationary supplies. I want a standing desk, but I don't really need one...never have I been sitting down and thought, "I want to do this work, but while STANDING!" 😂 But they seem so cool and a nice way to get double the adjustment (along with a chair with good adjustments).

I’m in the process of organizing my four desks that I have in different areas of my house for writing, arts and crafts, card making and planning. These tips are so helpful! Thank you!

My tip is investing in items that have multiple uses to take up less space, such as the tombow mono 2way correction tape + eraser. it's one of my favorite items from jetpens.

I swear, I feel like JetPens knows what I'm thinking! I was just planning on how to clean up my desk and get new organizing baskets and drawers.

The best organizational tool I have purchased in the Lihit Lab book style pen case. It keeps my pens organized by color (left) & tip size on the right. It makes it very easy to find the exact pen I need, and allows for travel. For added fun, get a single pen holder for the pen you use most. Mine in a Zombie that has been impaled with a Pilot G2 Pen. The key is knowing what you use on a day to day basis, for example: I never use paper clips, so it doesn’t makes sense for me to keep them on my desk.

Perfect timing. I was planning on doing that tomorrow.

The way my mom would clean/organize her desk for holidays would be to take a box, put everything in it, tape it shut, write the holiday and year on it, and store it in the basement. My step-dad worked for the school district as a janitor and at the end of the school year, people would throw out all sorts of office supplies. After my mom died, my sister had the task of sorting through our mom's stuff. My mom had 12 boxes of desk stuff! Each box contained a stapler, scissors, tape dispenser, and much, much more. My sister carefully made piles of each. We had a good laugh about it.

uhhhh not really. sure you need money to buy those extra organizers and stuff, but you could definitely work with what you have at home. also file organizers and stuff like that aren't that expensive. you could find them at the dollar store

I wonder if you can put up a video showing where else we can use these stationeries. For me, I also use stationeries when practicing piano. I use sticky notes on my piano books to mark favourite pieces, or mark pages for my mistakes and difficult parts. I also use a clamp to keep the pages open. I also have a notebook to write my progress.

Frequently used pens are kept in a small tray holder which can be moved around the desk or stored away from it.

I keep most of things (sticky notes, stickers, erasers, sharpeners etc.) In boxes and label them I also have 4 desk organizers, I use 1 for pens, 1 for colored pencils and drawing pencils, 1 for highlighters, dry erase markers, and one for brush pens and markers I keep all my books in drawers, as well as my other stationery And I just add a tad bit of decor, and that's it

I keep all my pens and highlighters within one color. If I’m feeling extra organized, I will have a color per school topic. Though lately I have just been keeping to pink.
